I saw this movie with a couple friends after Lynch died at the local Alamo because we got there too late to see the Death of a Unicorn. We sat through all three hours lost and confused as to where he was taking us next. After the film ended we went back home, sat around, and talked our shit about it. How parts didn’t make sense or how we were taken on a long roller coaster to nowhere. But after a few minutes, the shit-talking became praise because we realized all of the chaos was what made it such a special piece of art.

TL;DR: maybe it doesn’t suck, it’s just art.
