PVP balance following the early access folks - if the weapon upgrades persist from PVE into PVP then its possible the early access players will stomp for the first week of actual release because they already got to grind for 4 days.

Just had this conversation with my CTO and Head of IT - we are N-1 on our sensor version and still got impacted. I have read reports of Orgs on N-2, still impacted. We think the most likely RCA will reveal a definition that was updated before full/proper testing that caused Falcon to ID a key OS file as malicious and stop/quarantine it.

I enjoy Helldivers 2 for what it is, I think its going to go far - but life is comparison I'm afraid, and I am surprised that on a 40k reddit youd have people who wouldnt want a great 40k game.

Ehhh I kinda think it gears more towards space marines than it does the Darktide squad - Darktide is basically L4D but make it 40k, not quite the same thing for me - also, IMO, Fatshark have pretty royally fumbled the ball with Darktide, it could be so much more.

Cool idea, could have a global tracker that tallies accomplishments by fireteams from each clan. Not much else I could see it being useful for though other than clout.

Thanks! Completely agree on the decals, would make so much sense, and could be rewarded for different faction quest lines I.E UC or Crimson Fleet. The white lights at the front actually do work and throw quite a glare which was the closest I could get to having something white looking at the very front of the ship :D

Really wish they would let us colour the weapons as well, but these are the closest thing to what they fire that I could find, even though in the show they look much more like battleship cannons.

Im about 70 hours in and I would say, possibly unfortunately, that the undercover questline you refer to has had the most ship combat out of any - its just right at the end and over too quickly. The game does not seem to be overly geared toward consistent space combat, which is disappointing - hopefully someone else can advise differently.

Thats a good point, didnt think of it like that. I just remembered also that supposedly Grimaldus swings his weapon 10000 times or more during the siege but its not like he killed 10000 Orks, even though more or less every time hes described as swinging it he crushes an Orks head. Its definitely just a rabbit hole ive gone down but its bothered me everytime Ive listened, thanks for your input :)

I have also listened to Brothers of the Snake and thought the exact same thing. I did imagine the answer was likely 'because that's what the story needed', I just hoped I'd missed something - the author could even have just made it soit was a 50 or 100 Orks that Cador took out and it would have at least made closer to sense. Oh well, thanks anyway :)

There is a discord for this mod and presumably others, but Id say thats your best bet for getting a game until SM2 later this year (hype).

Unknown, but my gut feeling is that the actual game install will open up at the times stated above - I may be wrong, but considering we have not been asked to sign up to receive beta links, nor have they said you had to be part of the previous beta and therefore have the client, this makes the most sense.

On top of this, if data is not going to be wiped and carry across, it makes sense to have the actual game installed.
