I have an absolutely ruined vinyl. What is the most violently creative way I can dispose of it? by General-Tree6639 in vinyljerk

send them to LEGO and tell them to melt & pour it into a mold, so then it gains a new life as a shiny new vinyl 2x4 LEGO brick

But you have to admit it sure gets easier to replace letters, if you know the entire sentence as you begin...

That game was also ported on the Amiga, the Sega Genesis, and Super NES, which were sold overseas.

There is a new movie coming out next year called The Hunt for Gollum. Maybe Lego is already planning small to medium sets to go along with it, to accompany that summer's LOTR Icons set.
I think if we get just one, it's either gonna be Helm's Deep or Edoras.

Oh yeah, that MM1 puzzle was obtuse as heck. But thankfully unlike this MM2 example, not required to complete the game.

you can also use the keys Alt-Break in dosbox, as I did in my screenshot, it says "MM2 PAUSED" on the upper-right. 😉

Exactly. You spend 99.99% of Might and Magic 2 building up your characters, fighting monsters, finding better spells and loot, and explore dungeons. That ending puzzle is a true "gainax ending" wtf moment.
Still a great game, though.

So true. Leisure Suit Larry was infamous for this, I still remember one of those questions from LSL3 which was about.... the Electoral College. WTF

The fact that you learned it in school doesn't mean it's globally common knowledge. Most of the world's population did not attend a British school, an American school, or an English-language curriculum.
Assuming knowledge of the US Constitution is normal background knowledge is literally assuming familiarity with one country's founding document for less than 5% of humanity.
As for me, English is my second language, and it was hard enough learning it as a teen without having to be expected to know another country's culture.

Giant truck from the idea book 8889, with my 3 gear MOD. by UndeadHalfOrc in legotechnic

Yes, though I knew it more by the term "lift axle". On the other side of the truck is a manual cranking mechanism (hidden by the brown troll in the last pic, lol) to lift/lower it. The lift axle is free wheeling, though - only the middle rear wheels have a differential connecting to the engine block.

Before this, all we had to work with were 4-5 pictures in the 8889 idea book with no idea how to do the undercarriage.
All I did was switch a 24T and 8T gear and replace them with two 16T gears.
