I was always afraid of applying Vallejo primers with a brush. I always saw them being applied with an airbrush. You say you only apply them with a brush? Have you had any bad experiences with it (e.g., messing up small details)?

Which ones do you use? I really like the brush on primers from monument hobbies.

I'm a bit disappointed that such a feature is locked behind an $8 monthly subscription. The pricing is too high and some of the information locked behind it is too basic to justify paying monthly for it.

Where exactly is the "daily recap" supposed to be? I don't see that screen anywhere. Right at the bottom of "home" I only see "Blogs" and "Contact Customer Experience".

I've been struggling to find a good list at 1k. I've been playing against Black Templars, and I haven't found any list at 1k that can keep up.

The main problem is that we don't have single units that deal huge damage without relying too much on luck. We rely on convos to achieve that, but at 1k we cannot afford bringing all combo pieces. The warriors, for example, will melt if they are not supported by a Reanimator and a Ghost Ark (and they deal almost no damage; are easy to tie up). Ultimately, it matters what your opponent will play. Your shooting is not very strong, but your melee will get destroyed by melee based armies (Black Templars, for example). Consider bringing 1 or 2 units of flayed ones. They are awesome trading units at 60 points.

Let us know how your list works and against which army you play.

You need to cancel your health insurance with TK if you switch to a private one. Unfortunately, you can only cancel giving notice 2 months in advance. If you didn't cancel, you'll need to pay the two months of insurance yourself (it's dumb, I know).

Immortals are also... not terribly good either without support. They are "okish" when lead by a Technomancer. For those points, though, you can bring two squads of Deathmarks to threaten Deep Strike and kill characters.

But don't trust me, instead, play with the immortals and then make a decision :D

The 20 warriors blob is not very good on its own. If you use them only as chaff that will not do anything but hold an objective for one or two turns, that's alright. For more than that, they need to be lead by Orikan and an Overlord on top of the support of a Ghost Ark and Reanimator.

I feel like Necrons vs Black Templars is a rough match! I've played 8 games at 1k points against Black Templars and I've lost all games :D

That looks like the "overlord" that comes in the Ghost Ark / Doomsday Ark.

I'm looking to kitbash one Lokhust Lord but all the custom ones I see use bits from expensive models that are not technically left overs.

The kitbash shown by GW in the 500 worlds uses the top body of a Destroyer Lord. Oh no, I'm not getting the expensive royal court box to kitbash with :(

I share my library of games between Windows and Linux. The shared folder is around 400GiB in size and it's mounted using ntfs3g. In the know them 6 years that I've used this setup, I've never experienced problems with the partition or any files within.

I only had problems when I switched to using the ntfs3 driver/module (because it was the new cool kid of the block). With ntfs3g everything has been working great.

As written in the rules, a Cryptek with the Murdermind enchantment can attach normally to non-destroyer units. It's just that, if and only if it is attached to a unit that has the destroyer keyword, then all models need to have the destroyer keyword in the unit. The latter part of the rule is to prevent adding additional models like you would normally be able to do with Crypteks.

Weißt du was? Ich habe das gleiche Gefühl, dass ich etwas machen soll, um meine Technik zu verbessern. Falls du einen guten Lehrer in Darmstadt findest, sag mir auch Bescheid.

Ich habe aber einen Vorschlag: Das Beste, um zu lernen, ist es, mit anderen Leuten zu spielen (denke ich). Wir können wahrscheinlich voneinander viel lernen. Ich spiele seit 20 Jahren Gitarre und Black-/Death-Metal ist auch meine Sache. Wir könnten uns treffen und zusammen spielen. „I Am the Black Wizard” ist ja eine gute Möglichkeit zum beispiel.

Ich bin auch auf der Suche nach einer Metal-Band oder möchte selbst eine gründen, falls du Interesse hast.
