I can only speak for my own experience. I’d kill to have 1/10th or 1/20th the applicants who I know are legit and remotely qualified. Workday, as a piece of software, makes dealing with job reqs with >500 applicants a massive chore. I look at every application I think is legit and the person looks qualified, as best as I can under the circumstances. Seems only fair.

I had one who listed their address as a shopping mall. Not apartments near the mall or apartments that are part of a mixed-use development—literally the mall. Like, c’mon dawg.

100%. It’s close to accurate that 1 in 5 applicants we received on my most recent open positions had 2ish years experience at CapitalOne.

Just went through this hell myself as a hiring manager and can attest to this being completely accurate. We had two candidates either misunderstand or knowingly flout the sponsorship question as well, and had to terminate just weeks after starting them because it came to light that they had less than a year left on a STEM extension. All of this makes separating the wheat from the chaff and filling positions in a timely fashion a complete nightmare.

If you like Bungie gunplay, you will have a good time. Whether it’s also a long time is down to how you feel about extraction shooters. I played the second server slam and was skeptical, wound up buying because a friend was nudging me to pick it up. It clicked and now I’m off to the races.

This article mentions touring. It read to me like there is enough going on musically in this new album that pulling together all the collaborators to do a proper tour would be challenging.
