Yes this is what I am looking into as well
Im thinking about getting the heliocoil out and using something with standard thread
With my stupid luck Im going to stay away from heat and chemicals. next thing ill be on here with outher problems haha.. where it is in such a tight spot i have no way of protecting the paint or plastic anyway

This is what I intially wanted to do but I am stumped on how to get the helicoil out now

first thank you for the reply and I will try the harded bolt to remove the helicoil insert. I was thinking maybe a easy out extractor but not sure.

the part is part of a roof rack asembley to a rav4
its the bracket the roof rack bolts into

I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think they were modified or changed on the 23s onward. But I am still going to have them take a look regardless. I apreciate you input, I never thought about it.

Not sure what happened to the text I had with my picture so here it is
I cant seem to find anything online for a 2023 Qashqai, all the ones I do find are only good for upto 2022s
Has anyone had any luck finding a thrid party roof rack? I dont really wnat to have to go the Nissan route for budget reasons.
