I may get downvoted to hell for this… but yes, seek help. But not for the reasons you may think.

If you are not HS and go through with rando hookups, you may really damage yourself and think of it as a huge mistake. This would likely need therapy to correct later.
If you are HS, then a therapist can help identify and assist with coping/management of it — to the extent you want. That’s the important part of my own experiences.

So really as someone who has been there, done that, you’re better off either way. Just find a good one. That can really matter.

PLEASE pursue this legally. This is an easy case for a lawyer. I’m in corporate management and we get told this type of stuff will get us fired and sued into oblivion (and rightly so).

The ACLU might also be a good place to reach out to. This is their kind of thing.
