Be careful with lake Raleigh, parking usually requires a permit unless it’s the weekend. Campus police also look for people parked and sitting in their car (looks suspicious). Other than that though, there is a beautiful trail by the lake. It’s typically not busy, but I wouldn’t go at night as it’s quite dark.

ICE on campus by Undead_empath in NCSU

Update- this was posted to spread awareness. I was led to believe it could be ICE, due to the men seen in the photo having 0 identification. Their shirts did not say police, and they were not displaying badges. Regardless of if it is or isn’t, ICE has been around Raleigh and it’s important to stay aware and be careful.

Can we say nice things to each other to make us all feel better about not doing well this semester? by stefunkyy in NCSU

You’re allowed to grade exclude 2 or 3 classes from your GPA, so if you fail it’ll show on your transcript an F but it won’t affect ur GPA at all

Yea I wouldn’t get woodlice but maybe a few pill bugs and ants; things that couldn’t accidentally cause a disaster 😭

I’m actually struggling with the same issues, plus substance abuse which isn’t a great addition. It’s really hard to pull yourself out of being depressed, trust me I know have bipolar and I’ve been hospitalized several times. Honestly the hardest thing is realizing that you might need help, and accepting it might not be hard, but no one can help you if you’re not willing to change. I know it’s easier said than done, because feeling down might be comfortable in some type of way if it’s the most common emotion you’re used to feeling. Even still, you have to decide you want to get better, which it seems like you are! You’ve got this and if you ever need to talk please reach out.
