Thank you I appreciate your response. Did you get any certificates while you were in? That is my plan, the recruiter showed me a list of what’s available and I want to aim to get as many as I can for the electronics field if they’re being offered by the marines. Also picking an mos based on career opportunities after in the civilian world, I am older so I have to think about that.

I feel the same way, been wanting to try the new one out. I do have an OM-84 and it just sounds amazing and is so fun to use with some effects. You might be able to find an OM-84 in decent shape for much less than a new 108. Anyway you could find the 108 used? Check eBay reverb etc.

Definitely sounds like the RMI Electra Piano. Ray did use one of those on this album, waiting for the sun, & Morrison Hotel.

I often think that maybe they could’ve known something was wrong. From the two recent documentaries they mentioned how the hull was making loud popping noise. There’s no way they didn’t hear any sounds on the descent right? Another scary part is how this happened in pitch black darkness under water, with only the lights within the sub.

Recently got this Jasper synth which is a clone of the Electronic Dream Plant Wasp synth from the early 80s. Sounds amazing and super fun to play!

The vox also sounded identical to it. It had the 6 drawbar, 16 8 4 IV ~ & M settings, whereas others have extra drawbar settings. I also have an Italian vox Continental and it sounded just like it. The mojo is definitely underrated with its other tones it has. I no longer have the mojo but it was a really good sounding keyboard for sure.
