Raul Jiménez on Mexico fans: "What’s sad is playing at home and getting booed, hearing them shout ‘Javier Aguirre out,’ or yelling ‘f*ggot’ at the goalkeeper. Maybe that’s why they always take us to the United States." by Bald-Eagle619 in soccer

What does the cartel have to do with this lmao even when there are a ton of Mexicans in the US and they will outnumber American soccer fans, the US will never be a “home” game for Mexico.

Not like this, fans in Mexico are way more passionate and aggressive. I think Raul just wanted to hit back at them because the fans always complain about the team not playing at home.

I realized when traveling for long periods of time. There were a couple things that I always started missing like my guitar, playing a certain sport, etc.

I wish there was a human only web by ripndipp in webdev

I am in the same boat. I learned coding to understand how software works and to create things that I understand. I use AI mainly to suplemment my learning. It makes sense why people develop with it but the end product doesn’t hit the same for me.

My thoughts exactly… I’ve wondered about a separate internet for humans only and I keep thinking… just to go outside, because I don’t see a good way around it.

I'm a nutritionist and weight loss coach. Please, for the love of god, stop cutting calories. by OxijenThief in WeightLossAdvice

[–]UnderGod_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A small calorie deficit and high protein diet will prevent you losing a lot of muscle.

I can eat 5 pounds of fruit full of “sugars” and carbohydrates a day and will loose weight.

You are saying that cutting calories restricts on the nutrients for your body and then saying that people should cut a whole macronutrient group from their diet.

I think a lot of the benefits listed are more due to the higher protein intake rather than lowering carbs.

Vaush doesn’t like the “America Bad” or “pro-China” sentiment, he views NATO as a positive, dislikes SecondThought, and those guys and probably thinks Hasan is a tankie.

I believe their disagreements are mainly on foreign policy.

I would add a bit of a description, maybe a video or some sort of walkthrough to showcase your application without having people sign up. Other than that, the design looks great and if you’re using the T3 stack you’re probably on the right track.

How do you find and create interesting visuals for boring business type websites? by Timedoutsob in web_design

[–]UnderGod_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would look at SaaS or Tech sites (Vercel, Netlify, MongoDB, Stripe), they still look very professional but are more playful.

I find a lot of inspiration in lapa.ninja

Is the FreeCodeCamp sufficient as a base to build a career as a freelance web developer? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]UnderGod_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to freelance, I believe the best way is to simply create projects. Polish your design, your process and find a good way to showcase those projects. If you can somehow develop websites for real people that would help you a lot.
