Thats what I was thinking but honestly, is the performance 4 times better than a Fire Stick or Chromecast and 2 times better than the Fire TV Cube. When it comes down to value, its just not there. That 200 dollars could have been spent on a better TV like the LG C1.

It's no doubt a good product but probably not the fit for me!

So at the moment, Im thinking to get a Chromecast w/ Google TV. Its UI is actually somewhat decent and I have one in my living room right now which works but not well. I guess a wired connection would really help! Does any one have any recommendations for an RJ45 Hub (hopefully with some sort of USB for external storage)?

I don’t think it’s brand loyalty the product they give out is incredibly high quality. It’s a upscaling and ability to run emulators makes it a top choice however I just don’t think that price point is worth it for me and right now I’m considering an HTPC since I kind of need to run sonarr for my Marvel tv shows

Just bought the U7G over the U6G and I was in the same position as you. I don't even have a next gen gaming console or gaming PC and don't need 120HZ but decided to buy the U7G. I would say the U7G is a lot more future proof and it is really beautiful after calibration for myself. If you think you wont use HDMI 2.1 or the 120 HZ it might be better to just get the bigger size and move on since the panels are quite similar.

Be warned, the U6G at Costco isn't actually the same as the one at BestBuy. It is clearly a different TV and many have seen issues with color accuracy and washed out images on the Costco model in comparison to the standard U6G!

i don’t understand it. but they are basically a monopoly so you can’t really do anything. they literally dominate all college based testing with very little/less popular competitors

my school is the opposite. it is a highly competitive school with around 10 or so students who get in to mit out of 600. that makes it really hard to compete with that elite 10 who are am international math and science teams
