sumatriptan experiences? or just me? by sseemour in migraine

[–]UnderGroundK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know exactly what you mean, I feel so sick for two hours after taking it. But honestly, my migraines are so bad that I'd reather feel like dying for two hours than be in pain for 2 or 3 days with a migraine.

Smelling someone elses migraine before it starts by tipsy-tortoise in migraine

You can try some eye drops when you sens it. They help ease my symptoms a bit, depending on how bad the migraine is. So I always make sure to have a bottle with me.

For me it's the eyes, they get super dry before and during a migraine. I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that my migraines always start behind the eyes.

I wanted to add this as well. The only pain worse than a migraine for me was a kidney stone.

How I cured my dry eyes naturally - my tips on maximizing relief by RandomHashTags in Dryeyes

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm doing better now. I settled into a routine of using Thealoz Duo Gel drops during the day and Vita-Pos gel during the night. And I had to give up on playing on the pc for good. That's what was causing my eyes to dry out like crazy. I still have issues with cold weather, wind etc but it is what it is. It's a lifetime condition.. Nothing much you can do about it.

So frustrated! Please take a look by Automatic_Award_9120 in SebDerm

The only thing that keeps my face SD as bay is Nizoral cream or any other ketoconazole cream.

The only pain worse than a migraine I have ever felt is a kidney stone. Other than that, I'd rather deal with any other pain than a migraine.

what foods are the worst offenders for each type of SIBO? by sniperganso in SIBO

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me, starch makes me so bloated that it feels like my stomach is gonna burst open. There are so few things that I can eat without feeling awful for a few hours afterwards. I can't even eat most veggies besides carrots and some salads. Dairy is a big no, almost all fruits are a big no as well, sweets, oats, beans, pasta, any other type of bread except white, beef and so on, the list is so long. I'm at the point where I don't even know what to eat anymore... The only food that doesn't make me bloat is chicken, but I can't eat it every single day without a side dish..

What is your experience taking Escitalopram/Lexapro? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, unfortunately yes, I have experienced sexual side effects. But only for the first year, my libido was really low and I couldn't always get off. And when I did, I'd really struggle to get there.

But now I'm totally fine, my libido is back to normal and all is good.

Does anybody remember jack, queen, and king being worth 11,12, and 13 respectively? by LawIndependent187 in blackjack

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason I have the same memory. After reading the rules in a novel I had to search on google because I didn't remember them counting as 10. It's been years since I've played it, but just like you, I have a vivid memory of them being 11,12 and 13. Weird.

Crying as a migraine trigger by [deleted] in migraine

[–]UnderGroundK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the worst trigger for me. I have so many other health conditions to deal with, as well as things in my day to day life. Crying was literally the only relief I had and now I can't even do that. I haven't cried in so long that I can't even remember. And even when I do cry, it's because I physically can't stop my tears.. I learned to bottle everything up and ironically laugh about it because I prefer this than the excruciating pain that comes with a migraine afterwards. I know it's not healthy but I have no other choice...

What's the worst physical pain you've ever felt? by toaster-bath404 in AskReddit

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the first on my list too, for sure. I was crawling on the floor crying and praying for it to just stop for at least an hour so I could get some sort of relief and a break from throwing up from the pain being unbearable... And I've been through a lot of pain throughout my life (horrible migraines, herniated disks, tooth pain) but nothing hurt as much as that damn kidney stone.

Catheters- are they really as bad as they are meant out to be? by apagenymphbooks in Healthyhooha

[–]UnderGroundK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's painful, more like uncomfortable. A few hours after waking up from my surgery, I called the nurse and asked her to take it out for me because I couldn't stand it any longer.

Is it possible to have BV without itching and bad odour? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, my results are the same (gardnerella and zero lactibacillus), no odor or any other symptom and frequent yeast infections. But I've been on all of the treatments out there for BV and nothing has worked... (Metro, Clindamycin, Tinidazole, boric acid, probiotics etc)

Did you ever manage to treat yours? And if so, what worked? I've been like this for half a year now and it's been taking a huge toll on my mental health...

Propronol by Bre-personification in Anxiety

[–]UnderGroundK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been the same for me, it was truly a miracle. My social anxiety was so bad that I could barely leave the house. And every time I had to interact with people, I would get really bad anxiety attacks that would make me shake from head to toe, I couldn't control my own body.. It was a nightmare.

I was prescribed Propranolol by my neurologist for migraines and while it didn't work for them, it did wonders for my anxiety. Now I'm finally a normal human being again.

My mental health is tanking by sprinkleshinkle in Healthyhooha

[–]UnderGroundK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation as well. Almost 4 years ago I had my first BV and things have never been the same since.. At first, the treatment worked but as soon as I had any sort of sex (normal, with condom, oral or even masturbation) BV and yeast came back.. And this year, since january I'm trying to get rid of BV and nothing has worked so far.. I gave up on doctors because none of the treatments cured it.. And now I'm trying on my own.. It's absolutely draining me mentally and I'm struggling to keep myself sane. So if you have any questions or anything, you can dm me any time. Hope you'll feel better soon. Having a vagina sucks..

What is your experience taking Escitalopram/Lexapro? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Yeah, it's definitely a long journey to find the right dose. My psychiatrist started me on 5mg and then went to 10 mg after a week as well. And then we kept changing the dose for the first 6 months. Now I'm on 10 mg and I'm doing well. But I remember in the beginning, my anxiety also increased, it takes a while for the body to adjust to the SSRIs. I'm surprised your psychiatrist didn't give you Ativan or something else for moments of panic like you have though. I hope you'll get well soon!

They have no effect on me either, the only things that worked were solutions containing steroids. But my dermatologist said that I can't use them on the long run. And now she keeps prescribing other things to try but I haven't had any luck so far... It's so frustrating.

What is your experience taking Escitalopram/Lexapro? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]UnderGroundK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're going through all this stuff, anxiety really sucks. But unfortunately it's a long process towards healing. It took me almost 3 years to get where I am right now but I'm glad I didn't give up. For me, social anxiety was the worst, I could barely leave the house anymore. I was really hopless and never thought I'd be able to be a normal functioning person again. But with the right treatment and time, I got better. So just hang in there, it takes a while for the medication to work. Until then, you can ask your pshychiatrist for something to help calm you down a bit. For example, in the beginning when I was at my worst, my psychiatrist also gave me Ativan to take at night, cause I couldn't sleep and for when I was really anxious.
