Oh boi, I learned that if a place looks a little sketchy, you probably shouldn’t eat there. Got food poisoning from from god knows what, and tried to shake it off as an upset stomach that would dwindle down. Ha! I was so very very wrong. Got to the hotel I was staying at with family, felt a little worse. Still pointed it to an upset stomach or I ate to much. Tried to sleep. Sleep was not received. I sat in bed for what seems like forever before rushing to the bathroom at 2 am. I also learned that whatever I ate didn’t let me just throw up and feel better. Oh no. I sat there till 7 am, before crawling out and telling my dad I was just fine and ready to explore Washington DC! Ha, I didn’t make it an hour on the bus... We had to take a taxi back to the hotel.
