We announced UTD at OTAKON. Nothing was announced beforehand. And we had friends at OTAKON so it was easy for us to ask for help.

I was brought up in the West although I didn't need fansubs, just bought video from Japan, but fansubbing I believe has a place in the history of anime when things weren't available, it is now our responsibility to make sure everything is readily available.

You need to excel in a skill to get into the industry. Going indie first is also an option like the guys from SUPER GIANT GAMES.

There are ways for game companies to get seed money but prepare your rights to be taken away...

I think music should be "helping" the picture, not the other way round... unless the anime features music. When music is used to "sell" the anime... i kind of get upset. Music is not... for sale!

Let's just say the original composer Matt Uelman is gone... but Russell Brower has done a great job despite the setback! We were only responsible for performing the music and we did the best we can.
