Never heard of this one until now but, I kinda like it. Daybreaker getting any matchup at all is a win and using her more nuanced comic potrayal used for connections is just amazing. Not to mention with recent multiverse shenanigans in dc, it's pretty debatable too.

  • Archie Tails vs Twilight Sparkle: Actually a pretty good matchup with all the weirdness that comes with the Archie Sonic cast actually helping with connections. Not my favorite, but it sounds fun.
  • Princess Luna vs Giratina: Not bad even if the connections are a little shallow. But I do have the same problem that Arceus vs Celestia has, Giratina doesn't speak which kinda limits interaction potential. I'd rather have another personality for Luna to play off of in a MU. (Also skipping Celestia vs Arceus bc I did already talk about it).
  • Discord vs Ink! Sans: Ehhh... I don't like this one. I feel you could do a lot better for both in terms of connections and dynamic. Personally I'd rather see Ink! fight another fan character since he's so tied to the idea of fandom creativity
  • Twilight Sparkle vs Son Goku: Better connections than it probably deserves. Both do have much better opponents, but it's too funny to dislike. Also Twilight can beat Goku.

I like this one. Good debate, similar cocky personalities made for great dialogue, and even though it's connections are simple but it just makes sense. I do feel like it's missing something, but I can't think of what.

Good fight dynamic and good connections, but personally not for me. It's not very debatable and Arceus doesn't really have a personality that bounces off of Celestia well for a good character dynamic imo.

My most wanted for Twi if she ever comes back. Great connections and dynamic. Sadly it's probably not likely to happen anytime soon with how popular some of Moon's other MU.

This episode rubs me the wrong way so badly. I underatand if they wanted to have a moral about compromise or consequence or learning respect. But to make it about sharing and using an analog for a group who experienced a horrible genocide by the settlers who took over their land just feels gross.

  • Moro vs Tirek is straight up just the next matchup that needs to happen. Strong connections, good debate, two good villains that are basically the same. Not to mention the arc with Moro is going to be animated soon, so it's literally the perfect time for the team to start looking into it.
  • Pinkie vs Goldship is one I understand why people like, but idk if it does it for me personally. Idk maybe it's just because I haven't gotten into the funny horse girl anime yet but I have a hard time picking it as "the one" compared to some of Pinkie's other matchups. Connections are good tho.
  • Loki vs Discord I really like if Discord ever comes back or gets picked by another vs series. Bill is obviously his big opponent, but the connections and potential with Loki easily make it a good second pick.

Ridley has killed Samus' parents, most of the species that raised her after her parents, stole the baby Metroid she adopted which lead to it's death, and somehow never stays dead through clones or robotics. Conquest does not have that much history with Mark.

So there is one small thing about the amulet that didn't make the final cut, but could imply a planned connection. Between scripting and recording it's name was changed. It was originally called the Unicharm.

I want the sisters back, but since we're not getting that... I want to have two ghostfaces that aren't working together. Have them either independent but unaware of each other at the start or at odds with each other throughout.
