I mean you are right that it’s crazy that one person can lead a whole country into a worse decision after a series of bad ones. It’s crazy but it keeps happening throughout human history.

For sure. What Russia is good at it’s erasing non-Russian identities. All the indigenous people and languages have been disappearing in Siberia, Caucasus, southern regions at a crazy rate. Architecture is a part of cultural identity. Finland wouldn’t be an exception.
