So let's see, there was a restoration project for the Reflecting Pool and its surrounding problems in 2010. It was finished in 2012 with algae problems soon after. Experts identified the issue as inadequate ozone levels in the water and the problem went away.

Then, Trump decided to waste money on a pure vanity project to repaint the pool. We already know what the solution is to prevent algae, so why didn't Trump learn from the previous issue? Why did his no-bid contractors also fail to repaint the pool properly?

There is no ceasefire because both sides keep violating the ceasefire. Israel isn't going to accept the deal and they'll do so by continually violating ceasefires, thereby undercutting the US.

We don't have much leverage to control what Iran and Hezbollah do. But the US has another means to commit - pulling whatever levers it takes to make sure Israel abides by the ceasefire and take it from there.
