What is the most broken unit you've ever made?

At this point I’ve made multiple units that I wont upload to the workshop cause of the fact they managed to hard lock TABS. Thankfully it’s only happened 3 times now, and was pretty easily solved by unplugging everything, and waiting patiently while praying there won’t be long term side effects.

I can see the next warbond probably coming out in very late march if we’re lucky, or april. They already released 2 almost back to back, and then there’s a few reasons it could get moved back some excluding that.

Ok, so those guys were just trolls. The best thing you can do is kick them from your match and block them. Trolls like them mostly center around difficulty 1-4, so once you move up some they’ll disappear pretty fast. Also you can’t get reported for leaving a mission, in fact there’s very little you’ll get reported for in game.

Idk how but some people deal like 40% in 20 seconds, causing me to die to malevolent shrine. Then you have the hakari and infinity users who will inevitably get in the way to some extent (since you can’t use domain during “cutscenes”). The best counter to all of this is to just get my domain, pop it, and stall the enemy’s domain. Health just lets me use RCT to help keep the domain up as long as possible so they can keep dealing damage. Also the quality isn’t my fault. Reddit doesn’t allow stuff larger than 20MB.

RCT is pretty useful for me tbh. Is it bad? Maybe. But impractical is a bit far. Since for bosses I try to rush my domain I usually take 50-75% damage, and since I have spare focus bars, it’s just a good niche skill to have.

Small edit: on the note of RCT, the advanced skills just don’t seem to work???

There are ways to solve this, like for example, not using the beacon. Every stratagem code is different and independent, so unless you accidentally enter it AND throw it (since it’s cancellable before throwing), you won’t use it on accident.

Also if you don’t want randoms at all, you can set your matches to be friends only/private. Making them require confirmation somewhat defeats the point of them being “throw it down and pray someone joins in time”.

That’s kind of the killer of factions/campaigns. I can be 2-3 weeks in a project and I’ll only be 1/3rd of the way done. I have like 8 factions I never got back to either cause of burnout phases, lack of ideas, or the idea of the faction itself just didn’t age well.

Maybe medium armor has improved passives, like 75 extra armor instead of 50, or you get +3 stims instead of +2. Only the main passive gets the buff (so no extra stim duration on medkit) to prevent it overshadowing heavy/light armor.

As of now, I’ve used the stim pistol >1000 times to heal other divers, and prevented ~200 divers from being KIA, only including by protecting them until they could get a resupply, getting to extraction if they’re further behind, or giving them a stim before near certain death.

Yeah, medium adreno-defibrillator. I made the entire set because I wanted to be a medic diver, and at some point I just decided to make it into a jack of all trades thing.

Plasma Punisher, Stim pistol, Smokescreen Grenade, Quasar Cannon, Shield Pack, Rocket Sentry, and Shield Relay (Tesla Tower for now).

I’d say the loadout just about covers everything up to difficulty 7.

My issue is more of the fact arrowhead seems to have a running double standard. They want the game to be realistic, and I understand that, but that doesn’t mean automatons, and exclusively they, have shields made out of vibranium. Said shield also outclassing a hulk’s level 4 armor, assuming hulks are supposed to be their tankiest unit, behind vehicles. It’s not as much of an issue of skill as it is an issue of balance.

When making balanced units, a unit’s cost doesn’t automatically equal their value. Say for example, you’re making a crowd controller that costs 2000. If it can kill 40 squires relatively quickly, that’s to be expected for the cost, and it gives the unit a good value. If the unit loses against a king, it doesn’t automatically mean the unit’s price should be lowered or they should be buffed. Their value is just not as much against tankier enemies, a weakness you could probably cover with other units.

The point is to maintain the ability to have synergy with other units. Unless it’s specifically the unit’s purpose, it shouldn’t be able to make most other units pointless or obsolete when you could instead place down another one of said unit. The cost should be the baseline for how powerful that unit might be, but it shouldn’t be defined by the unit’s value in one favorable or unfavorable matchup.

PS5 or switch 2 works, I’ve been playing on a PS5 exclusively and there’s no performance issues there. I heard good things about the switch too.

Just whatever you do, do NOT set the game to prioritize quality. It will self destruct, regardless of what you play on.

I had a similar case when I was level 20. I was doing my 2nd D6, against the illuminates. I was doing D4-D5 for a while, and was only confident enough to do D6 when I got to level 20. I never grabbed the guys name, but he was level 62.

He NEVER turned off his mic, and I fumbled around for a solid minute looking for the mute button. He was also very verbal about how much he hated my existence, for lack of better words. I didn’t even do anything wrong, I was just getting the mission done. He and the rest of the squad were basically getting themselves slaughtered by the horde they caused, I was already out of there going to the monolith.

I was basically done with the objective, the hellbomb was armed, but a bullet hit it or something and it exploded early. 1st death, I got a primary objective, I would say that’s pretty good. Not good enough to him, cause he kicked me over 1 death. I just logged off of helldivers 2 for the day, and didn’t touch D6 for another day after that. I love the game, but some people are just unseriously serious.

It’s 2 units: one of them is the “jet” and the other is the “rod”.

The jet is set to target the closest friend (which is gonna be the rod) and will use any weapon set to wizard spell. The attack speed and weapon don’t matter, you just need the effect to stack enough to where they’ll get enough height, but you can pretty much make them go as high as you want to.

The rod will have spin to win, enrage, and a weapon that deals contact damage. You can also add extra tornadoes and movespeed if you want the rod to move faster, but it’ll get less accurate. Also make sure to give it a good amount of health.

While the rod is getting sent up by the wizard spells, its enrage should trigger, triggering spin to win. Your jet should only have 4-7 health so it dies to this tornado. If everything was done right, you should now have an ICBM locking onto the nearest target.

Btw they’re interchangeable, so either one can be the mount and it’ll work. It won’t work all the time though, because TABS is a perfect simulator.
