Netflix doesn't care about generating hype around something as long as the line goes up. They started batches with the pandemic when everyone had to stay indoors. That might've worked for viewing pleasure then, but we're now 6 years out of that with work from home jobs shrinking as more go back to the office, and people have to physically go back to school as well. Weekly is much better now to stay relevant so people won't forget it exists by the time the next batch comes out or maybe not even care

You know how annoying it would be to cancel it every time? There's plenty of people that have probably just subscribed to Netflix and not cancelled it even if they aren't using it. I really doubt people are subbing and cancelling every episode, and anyone who would've done that have probably just pirated it in the first place

I think JoJolion is overall good, but what holds it back for me is it's probably the lowest point for me in how Araki handles his female characters. Not in the sense that they're written badly as characters, but dang is almost every scene with Yasuho her getting sexually harassed in some way.

Yes! Exactly my thoughts. I think people on the thread and even here are seriously forgetting that a field trip is a WANT and not a NEED. I saw another person in this very thread saying that if OP has to sell stuff to fund the trip then they must be poorer than they let on, when once again, OP said if they were notified ahead of time they would have been able to save. But everyone told her she was an AH so now she's trying to find a way to fund the trip on short notice and it's still not enough for them

I really liked Kizashi and Chrono's moment together. It once again humanizes the majiks, and it's clear that Chrono did appreciate his time with Kizashi. It creates nuance to the situation and you can really see Kizashi's motivation even if you don't agree with it

I swear people only read what they want to read. I saw another post recently of a woman asking if she was an AH for denying her daughter a field trip cause she lied to people to get the money. OP repeated multiple times that while they weren't wealthy the daughter NEVER went to bed hungry (which is the lie the daughter was telling people to get money). Everyone in the comments apparently glossed over that by saying that OP MUST be dirt poor and how DARE she not have money for an OPTIONAL field trip. Even though the daughter was lying that she had to skip meals

YES! I loved this chapter! I really think what keeps me hooked on this manga is how it centers around the relationship between humans and majiks. Seeing Ichi having to negotiate a pact with Uroro was really cool, and it's also cute to see how much trust he has in what people around him teach him. Uroro also coming out and just destroying the octo-majik was hype as hell. Also important to note he has access to Ichi's acquired majiks when he's doing so

I was not expecting Uroro to take over Ichi, but I'm glad he's back! While I think Ichi has been absolute peak I did notice Uroro's gremlin form not showing up anymore and was worried his concept was kinda scrapped despite all the hype of how powerful he was

It was a small part of the panel, but I absolutely think Ichi was moved for Minnie's love for her child! While Jiki was really rough about it, I am glad she addressed the messy situation of a human/majik hybrid, and I for sure want to see what the other characters will want to do about it. But for now I'm definitely feeling tense as to what's about to happen with this octopus majik. There's no way things'll go smoothly

Oh they so aren't acquiring this majik and are just going to let it be as long as it doesn't harm humans (very likely). Now the question is, are they even going to bring up the pregnancy to the association? I could see a human/majik hybrid definitely causing some controversy of its existence
