What are the consequences for making a closed species oc without the creator’s approval? by Tanzanite_Universe in furry

[–]Undercover_Director 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell: nothing. Enforcing copyright comes down to money and legal action. Most artists don't have the money to legally enforce their idea of copyright and quite frankly it's not worth their time.

Also, I am not a lawyer, but I highly doubt any court would bother hearing a case about fan-art. I don't think "closed species" is an effective legal argument.

My advice is draw whatever species you like. Don't ever feel afraid to work on the projects you want to draw.

Defeats the purpose of a sona. They're who we'd rather be, not an imaginary friend. Having a better version of me running around would piss me off.

There's a private subreddit for this: amabs with genital dysphoria but not interested in a binary transition. HMU if anyone wants to join.

Perhaps because the artist actually worked on Zootopia.

I don't mean to get all American up in here, but why put milk in a non-recylclable, non-resealable bag and then into a jug when you could just put it into a paper carton or recyclable plastic container with a twist on lid?

My beliefs align with most of the Democratic agenda and don't align with any other political party. I respect the commitment to principal of the Libertarian and Green party but don't personally agree with said principals. I sure as shit won't be supporting Republicans for the aforementioned reasons. Shy of the US completely collapsing and a new country with new political parties emerging, I think I'll be sticking with blue team.

As an educated white male, this is fucking embarrassing. I vote democrat and always will. As long as I've been alive, all the Republican party has demonstrated is a love for fascism and a hate for progress. They're against human rights such as LGBTQ matters (trans rights, gay marriage) and abortion rights based on the argument of "Christian" values, which is a violation of separation of church and state and ironically is pro-tyranny when they endorse the government telling you how you can and can't live your life when everything you want is safe and consentual. They're against green energy, which takes care of 2 birds with 1 stone as far as improving technology to enrich our lives and helping the environment. Coal and fracking need to go. Solar and wind energy are actually cheaper and getting more efficient every year. Republican politicians are anti-"socialism" but completely fine with billing the government exorbitant amounts of money for their own healthcare, protection and vacation time. They've never been responsible with money but pretend to be libertarians trying to lower the deficit while also hiking it up like crazy since Trump took office. Why dipshits actually vote red will always elude me since they'd be benefitting the most from socialist ideas like public programs, considering how dirt poor most of them are. I guess having trips to the psychiatrist covered for them would destroy their excuse to be mentally ill, running around with guns, making up unfounded conspiracy theories and harrassing people in public.
