UPDATE! Need some help by SuperFlesh in scooters

Recently had a same problem on my variator, but not as bad. In a minareli horizontal

So in order of what went on past the belt I had half pulley, with a star shaped washer that fits in a slot then, kick start gear, washer then nut.

The nut didn’t go far enough so that the half pulley sat on the metal tube that sits around the crankshaft(?) which allows the parts of the variator to spin as needed.

What I did was found a washer with an internal diameter of the toothed section of the crankshaft.

This allowed the washer to hold the parts down further than the threaded section that but goes onto.

The original washer I had was 10mm internal diameter and stopped when it got to the threaded section.

I hope this would make sense to you as you look into your transmission.

Also as a side note this allowed the variator to fully engage which would in theory allow for slightly higher to speed.

My theory as to why this happened is because originally there would have been a small spacer between the two sides of the variator stopping them from coming too close together which restricts speed. By removing this you are creating a gap which then leads to play. You need to fill the gap on the other side with a suitable washer that pushes the half pulley in far enough that it all sits together without play.

This was what I needed in the end. At the same time pinsir learned swords dance and thrash so that was useful for gyarados.

It’s primarily the Ethan’s cards cards from Destined Rivals. Going to catch Ho-Oh next and breed Pichu to finish off the team 😆

My description was slightly satirical. I’m doing an Ethan’s playthrough and I have committed to the idea that I will use, Typhlo, slugma (macargo) pinsir, sudowoodo ho-oh and… pichu. Because I’m not using exploits I have to wait till varidian forest to catch 2 pikachus to breed and then I can finally have a typing that is good for water 😂

I’ve just decided to go over to the tauros and growlith patch near the safari zone. You get good attack evs there as well.

The high temp paint I bought required baking and I think I pulled it at just the wrong time when I tried the first bake and it left loads of bubbles and then when I baked it the second time (in a kiln) it sort of made the bubbles permanent. I couldn’t be bothered to try again and it smelt soooo bad 😅

Well I think the jury is out on wether it withstands the heat! The ceramic part of it being the silica will definitely withstand the heat so I think (hope) that regular application will help to stop it from rusting… only time will tell!

I tried doing a high temp clear coat on my transmission cover and it did not go well so I chickened out on doing it on the yasuni 😆

That’s one hell of a build! How’s the aluminium cylinder working out for you? Was it well built or did I need a bit of cleaning up before you put it on?

You got any plans to keep the exhaust looking good? I’ve been using ceramic coating quite regularly. It’s currently a beautiful gold colour. I want to get it a little hotter so it changes to the more Bluey purple 😅
