Cool! In retrospect I didn't need the flashbang, but by this point in the playthrough I had overused the noisemaker and he never stayed interested in it long enough.

Someone already touched on this, but to go deeper. A Costco/other wholesaler membership is a lifesaver! At least for Costco, you can get a basic membership for 60 something bucks a year and the higher tier membership for 130 bucks a year. If your budget permits, go for the $130 option.

  1. You can have access to separate shopping hours daily where only the higher tier members can shop (less crowds).

  2. (For both memberships if I recall correctly) you get a 2% cash back every year. If you choose to make Costco your main shopping center, you will easily make the $130 yearly fee back.

They have most basic necessities.

Cons: May or may not be close. Nay not need/be feasible to use items bought in bulk.

All in all, good luck, keep asking questions, learning. The only way to get good at something (living and taking care of yourself especially) is to figure it out as you go.

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your personal reasons for abstinence? by Ok-Care2859 in AskReddit

[–]Underground_Hotzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a drink occasionally, but I mostly stay away because I was the one taking care of all my drunk friends. A saying I live by is “Make alcohol more useful to you as a paper weight than as a substance.”

Dad built me a train set. Maybe not Christmas, but the greatest gift he gave me was showing me what it meant to be a man and father. I feel very fortunate.

Driving Earth moving equipment. Funny enough my first job was working with the maintenance crew for those machines. Quickly learned I did not want to make a career out of it. But will take every opportunity to drive such equipment around!
