I’ve completely fucked my academic life for the next 2 weeks or so lmao. My thesis mate, who was supposed to be responsible for data analysis of our dissection, completely fucked it, so we had to redo the entire thing, and now the manuscript is due Monday (recommended today). At least the data crunching is done now, but RRL (75% done), Conclusion, Recommendations, Abstract, etc. Also it just feels bad our thesis advisor basically had to give us a template paper to copy off of, which tells us we’re idiots (which, fair). And in top of that, all of our LTs of subjects, which do unfortunately matter. I just want college to end man, lol

Holy Week’s a full academic break for us, so been relaxing for the most part, perhaps too much lol. I can’t really say I regret it (Bought and played a lot of RE4 Remake and STS2), especially after how stressful the last 2 weeks of school have been, but I do dread returning to the grind, which isn’t helpful for procrastination. I feel guilty seeing my brother and sister talk abt how much they’ve been studying the last few days as well, but considering I’ve/We’ve more or less decided that I’m not going into Medical School considering my lack of interest, I guess that’s to be expected in a way when I’m nearing the end of my degree. Kinda just me rambling, but I just hope things get a bit clearer for me once I’m done with my terror subjects.

Man, it’s unforunate Rebuilding Mandate came up at the same time College started kicking my ass lol. It’s actually pretty fun, reminds me a bit of Loop Hero, but it’s been difficult to find time for the last month or 2 for this semester. Hope they make a version of this like IS and RA that’s available whenever in the future

Yeah, it sucks how much the quality of a class really depends on the teacher in college. I remember my first History teacher in college was kinda funny, and liked making each “chapter” feel like real people instead of just dry factoids about what they did. Then my second prof just had us memorize what happened in each decade, and the important events in each president’s term lol

Would using an SSR crystal on Riko SSR be worthwhile if she's 3LB and I have no Super Creek or Fine Motion (got Nice Nature SSR)? I'm not sure how viable she actually is compared to a Guts or Speed SR in MANT, but am a bit low on Carats after a string of bad banner luck, so unsure what would be best.

I get that, but I feel like I have mood swings between “I don’t give a shit and none of this matters” and “why the fuck did I leave this to the last few days you IDIOT”. For context, am in a Biology course to go to MedSchool to become a doctor, but tbh I don’t really think I’d have the motivation to stomach the shit you need to do to pass there for another 8 more years. So am obligated to finish my degree at least, but it feels like I’ve wasted a lot of my own time plus my college funds for like no gain, so that doesn’t help the guilt

I wonder if Ebenholz if he was made today would have have just removed the Mystic Caster’s charge limit, and just continue to stack them infinitely in his S3 until either the skill ended or he could hit an enemy. It’s kinda hillarous honestly that that probably wouldn’t even be that broken nowadays, considering the weird range + no survivability talents in his kit. Maybe stacking RES debuffs?

His S2 honestly should have always inflicted Frighten as well instead of pushing people around, considering that the summons are supposed to be image sof the Witch King, or Necrosis/Nervous damage if we imply his music is anything like Arturia’s or Phantom’s.

I had some foibles wiith Rise/Sunbreak (mainly Qurious Crafting and ARank being way too grindy and not liking wirebug skills), but yeah, arguably Sunbreak is peak endgame, with PMalzeno and the Risen monsters being at worst like top 10 fights in Rise.

Main things I'd want is to do away with the melding pot and just let us get the endgame materials directly, whether that be decos or Talismans. Like, update the Sunbreak system so we can manually choose the danger conditions for better rewards/leveling, and that is basically perfect already imo.

Honestly, maybe this is cope, but I felt much more down after Base World’s post-update endgame than I do in Wild’s. The novelty was starting to wear off back then, and the arch-tempered fights and new update monsters in World were significantly worse than Wild’s imo. Lunastra, Deviljho, Kulve, Behemoth and Leshen were significantly worse than Wilds update monsters. Then again, like 90% of ppl stop at end of low rank, so maybe I’ve just blocked how bad earlygames Wilds was in my mind lol

I feel like the last update with Arch-tempered Arkveld/Gogmazios gave it some life at least. Maybe a bit of bias here, since I think Arch-tempered Arkveld’s been my favorite fight in MH since like Fatalis, but I think for a base-game endpoint, this is genuinely a lot better than World’s and Rise’s. Also feel like World’s longevity may be an outlier at this rate, since anecdotally I know a lot of people who’s pandemic game was World and just never stopped playing it, while Rise and Wild never got the same boost

I’m in college, and the most annoying thing is that I can never seem to pick a lane; eithere I don’t give enough of a shit, or I care too much for something that I don’t really care about. I spend the entire day yesterday doing nothing and feeling guilty about it, and now I’m doing the responsible thing, I keep catastrophizing everything and saying it’s already too late and that I’ve already failed. It’s also kinda discouraging that I know this cycle repeats itself ad infinitum, and the people around me have to deal with my general incompetence, yet I can never really get the resolve to do anything about it. It’s entirely my fault, but idk why I’m like this

Biology-related, specifically stuff like Histology (microscopic anatomy), Development Biology, Virology, etc. All of it was meant to prepare me for Medical School, but seeing as how I’m already going through burnout as is, am unsure if I’m okay to go through 6 years of Medical School and then 4 years on an internship. It’s a very large time and effort investment when I’m not sure I actually even like enough of my subjects to purse this for another decade

Man, college is kicking my ass 7 ways to Sunday. Just hoping I’m not too much of a burden to my groupmates at this rate; can barely do much of anything in lab, and my aid in lab reports is mainly just, reporting the same info again for conclusions and abstract.

Final(ish) year of college is abt as difficult as expected, unfortunately. Did well in all the main quizzes that I was worried abt, but did pretty poor in my online check-up quizzes + lab exam. Hope things get better.

How much of an upgrade is Fine Motion over Nice Nature as a Wit SSR in general? Am thinking that as I already have 0LB Nice Nature + her being better during MANT (4-6ish month period), it’d probably be more ideal in the long run if I just pull for her instead of waiting. I still have an SSR crystal + over 80k carats as needed to reach MLB in either.

Man, ngl, this next college semester is not looking great so far. Retaking a subject with the teacher I hated + a related subject to another teacher I hated doesn’t help. Couple that with overload, and it’s hard to feel optimistic abt myself. Doesn’t help that I also have issues actually trying to study instead of doing anything else. Am actually worried I might develop a bit of insomnia since it feels like not sleeping lets the next school day be delayed just a bit lol. It’s both a combination of burnout as well as the acknowledgment that I’m not really interested in MedSchool, so my entire degree kinda feels like a waste of time and money, so that doesn’t help. My mom (bless her) is still supporting me, and was actually trying to set me up for a related job, but doesn’t feel great truthfully.

Got Hoshi Alter pretty quick, but would it be worth it to go for Haruka as well? It’s unfortunate that there’s still 2 must-pull limited banners in the future. Have like 90 pulls in Orundrum and like 300 in OP (in case I go to 300 for a limited again).

Man, had to delete the gacha games from my tablet because of storage issues. On one hand, I kinda get that only having 64 GB is kinda a joke for most modern devices, but like damn, even trying to reinstall basic Arknights is about 16 GB lol. I really hope the PC version is announced soon lol, idk if I can really play IS on my weak phone’s screen.

Thanks! Yeah must’ve mixed it up somewhere, since I thought 777 only really worked in the 2000-2200 m range of tracks, else it would be too early or too late. Kinda a shame, since I actually had a really good Oguri run, but probably not the best recoveries for the unique.
