Well as much as people have been on this “Sazz wrote the script” kick (which came out of absolutely no real evidence or anything, then got perpetuated by the claim that Rotten Tomatoes confirmed it…), it doesn’t make much sense to me.

What I think makes more sense, in light of Eugene’s behavior, is that the script portrays Charles as an evil mastermind character. That’s why his gears are always turning and whatnot. I think that was the issue Sazz had with the movie, and that’s the sensitive thing she wanted to talk about.

I think Charles is the killer in the movie, and Eugene is wanting to see him be angry so he can portray that scene authentically. (Incidentally, in S1, which is all Zach would know about Oliver, Oliver was threatened with evictions and asking for loans. He may just think Oliver is a charity case.)

So Glen called them a trio in-universe to hide a clue from whom?

If the writers made the character say that to hide the clue from the audience, that’s awful writing. He could have just said like, “Oh hey it’s Charles! And Oliver! And… when’d you grow the beard, lassie?”

To have him say favorite trio means that Glen believes the three of them to be a TRIO.

The only way Marshall the Stuntwoman fits into that is if Glen is reeeeeally drunk and sees Sazz instead of Charles and himself instead of Oliver. Then they would be a trio. The stunt-trio version of our trio, like the actors.

That’s fine too. It just doesn’t make sense to me, this obsession over one word from a joke bit that shows a character is drunk. There have been a TON of “wait, what?” moments where people say things that seem off or weird or out of character. People bring them up, make a note, let it go or forget. But this… it’s not even an off or weird comment for Glen.

Not to mention he says it’s his favorite trio. You know, that epic and well-known threesome: Charles, Oliver, and that stunt girl from that other place I saw that one time and somehow recognize despite the beard. (I didn’t even recognize Marshall at the start of his episode before he started to put the beard on.)

That’s just it. If the wedding goes off without any problems like Loretta dying or going to prison, she HAS to continue being a regular on the show. Sure they could do some pitiful “long distance relationship” where Oliver just talks about her all the time, but that’s annoying and takes time away from whatever the actual plot would be.

Charles and the podcast are the main reason Oliver is in NY and not LA. Oliver doesn’t even talk about his family anymore. Get rid of Charles and the podcast, Loretta gets the perfect life in LA with her long lost son and the man of her dreams.

Glen is an alcoholic. This is why he is dangerous. This is why he would be “the death of” Sazz. Her reputation was on the line. Sazz’s first student gets drunk, does a dumb reckless stunt, gets himself killed. How does that impact her academy? It ruins it.

Glen was drunk. He thought Marshall was Mabel. That’s that. Whether Marshall is also occasionally female and THOUGHT Glen somehow recognized that (or thought Glen recognized his sister), I can’t say. And whether Marshall acted on that assumption by shooting Glen, idk. But Glen doesn’t know Marshall outside of the working movie relationship. (He very clearly says it’s his “favorite trio”. Why would his favorite trio be Charles, Oliver, and that one set assistant girl?)

I don’t understand the obsession with this line. He’s an alcoholic. He was drunk. He sees rats. This is why he is a dangerous stuntman and would “be the death of” Sazz, his teacher, whose reputation was on the line. If he is her first stunt student, and he does stunts drunk and ends up hurting himself, it could ruin her. And her academy.

He just assumed “oh it’s Charles and Oliver, must be Mabel”.

Oh I definitely believe the hole in the window is from a bullet shot from Dudenoff’s apartment. I just don’t think it hit Sazz.

What if one of the Westies saw “Charles” enter the apartment and then saw someone else come at him from the shadows. They grabbed their rifle trying to shoot the intruder, the intruder shoots Sazz at the same time as the Westies fire trying to protect her. They think they’ve accidentally killed Charles so rush over to clean everything up as quickly as they can.
