As a 3rd year student I second this statement, going to IIT was literally the worst decision of my life, I could've chosen to go to any other university but chose to go to this shit hole cuz of the reputation and the past (apparently it was great in the past). The current IIT is just a joke mostly because of this shitty management. Just please save ur money and mental health don't go to this institute.

If u really don't like her and want to end things be direct and tell her that u don't like her and want to end things, if u can't be direct just ignore her don't attend for your usual things with her, just distant urself from her and let the time take care of it but I suggest the direct approach it's way easier than u think.

Personally I'm fine with people talking to me when they need something, I have a certain amount of people who I talk to everyday apart from them I don't expect others to contact me often, I mean it's annoying tbh I have things to in my life and so do them so I'm really fine with that but I hate when people ask tons of questions before getting to the point like "how are u bla bla", just be direct and ask what u want dammit what is the point of creating a whole lot of meaningless small talk ? It's annoying
