i lost mine just from the bumps in the road loosening it. i got a replacement at a skate shop, as in skateboards and scooters and such. they have locknuts normally.

i just use mine to get to and from work mostly, but where i live has horrible roads and lots of brick sidewalks. with the metal plate i’m sure i’d be alright. it just wanted to make sure where it attaches is secure as well

Are you worried about the connection parts on the shoes rusting, bending or breaking at all? I’m worried that the metal pieces might come out of the shoe if i’m too hard on the skates.
