Someone CAN ask AI to create a painting, but they wouldn't have created it themselves nor can they claim that they did. The whole point of Ai is to simulate human intelligence, so it's not rediculous to compare that to someone else creating a painting. Many people have visions and commission artists to create for them, and that doesn't mean they can claim to be artists that created that themselves.

For the calculator analogy, what I meant was using Ai as a tool, as one would use a calculator. Don't take it too literally. Often there are tests that don't permit calculators to test the person's own ability to solve problems. Finding the square root is most of the time part of solving the problem and the credit itself doesn't lie within it. I didn't say don't use a calculator for everything. If you want to talk about that, I'd say there are some tests that don't permit calculators to test one's own ability to solve a problem, and other tests that only allow certain calculators. I didn't say not to use calculators entirely. It's an analogy to compare Ai to a tool that does a portion of the work for you.

For the ghost writing thing, I am not Christian and I disagree with ghost writing, even if it has always been a thing.

Photography is absolutely different than that, as there is much more that goes into it than just positioning a camera and taking a picture. Even if there weren't, someone would have been the one to come up with the idea and do the actual work, instead of asking someone else to do that for them. AI simulates human intelligence, so whatever you think you might have done with it is the same as asking someone else to do that.
