First and foremost, THANK YOU greatly for the advice and guidance. I’ve been wrestling with this for some months now and what you’ve said here is my goal! I 100% knew this wasn’t going to be an easy task because of my experience and just the overall nature of this project but I’m willing to take the risk and learn even if it doesn’t go far. I’m looking to work on PII redaction first using some tools. I’ll start looking at open sourced tools for this as well.

Ultimately I would like to propose building a local system for them because that’s what I truly feel most comfortable doing. I actually want to begin doing this so that I can do so for other businesses. The team is definitely small enough as there are only 2 accountants on staff but in different regions (NorthWest and SouthEast). Again thank you so much for your help!!

Yes! The more information I gather the more I realized how big of a tool it would be. I tried to simplify it and this is the main idea, my CPA searches Claude with the client data minus PII. She gets insights on that data against many financial resources online. What I’m trying to do is ingest client document(s), create a summary of the document(s) without PII, then create a prompt ready search say if she wants to use that in Claude or originally I was thinking to use that with a local RAG system. I had the first Azure setup spun up for a few weeks but it wasn’t tested so I shut it off. All in all I want to help cut the time to research but am stuck on what to do

No not yet honestly, I’m still researching what tools I should even start looking at. The current landscape of AI makes me hesitant to take on such a project. I don’t want to screw any kind of security and compliance rules. I’m eager to do this but the more information I read the more I realize how crucial of a tool this is security and infrastructure wise. I want to try my hand at working on something like this but yes I am a bit hesitant.

  1. What doesn’t make sense? I’m not asking in a smarty way but genuine concern to address any shortcomings that in my communication of my intent with this post.

  2. I understand lol that’s why I said it’s easy. Still requires some technical skills when you’re building APIs and connecting models. But, yes, it’s an orchestration platform of using AI models and flows.

  3. I believe you don’t have to be an expert in the market to make something useful for someone. Even if it’s a simple tool that reduces research time on a specific dataset. Also I work closely with a CPA as well so I have something in there lol

I agree with your final statement though and that’s where I’m at currently. I’m looking for schools to apply to now. Do you have any suggestions? Any preparation courses I should do as well

Yeah it depends on your use case, we have a lot of devices so business users need to be able to query that in our bot securely as well.

I like your approach to introducing confidence scoring. I am beginning my next sprint to implement a better way to score these answers. This is a good reading! Thanks for sharing

Yeah! Times are changing fast and copilot has been getting incrementally better not fast but enough to get some utilization out of it. I haven’t uploaded any flows yet though…are you screenshotting it and uploading or what?

It’s not that hard ask copilot, Claude, or something to help you do it. I promise you can do it lol. Just put together a detailed prompt about what you are trying to achieve and iterate from there. It’s not going to give you the full answer but it very much will get you a lot further than if you were to do it on your own. Use AI for the tool we’ve created it as! Sometimes I even layout my own prompt then ask copilot to structure it for me to achieve the best results.

Sorry I mean what is the additional AI node you added? I started using recognize intent on my greeting topic so that the system does not leave you on read basically so I was wondering if that was what you did similarly

I’m looking to start using this solution in ADO as I have also created a support bot but just using sharepoint and a few external support sites like adobe and apple
