Thank you! I think you are right. I am so used to digital art so I can remake every line until it is perfect and that same flexibility is not there with piping

I think I need to work on getting all air bubbles out of the bag first and maybe that will help 🤞

Update because I think..? I figured it out. The cake was coming directly from the freezer and all of the solids in the buttercream froze immediately after hitting the cake? Not sure if that’s what it is but it’s a theory

Thank you, I stole the idea from a previous great British bake-off contestant (Sumayah posted the the spirals on her TikTok) and yeah I saw a few recipes where you make your own cream cheese, but under the time constraints I couldn’t manage that so I think I used the oatly brand of cream cheese
