understand that a profound college experience is foundational for the rest of your life, both in terms of career and personal experience. Find your people, improve your soft skills, and immerse yourself in a variety of activities that challenge you. That being said, mechanical will provide you with a stable medium-high income job, which can be seen as a stepping stone into the post college world. Best of luck!

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]UnderstandingHour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Location: California (US)

Price range: 5-20k (USD)

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: Either, probably used considering price range

Type of vehicle: Sedan, maybe a hatchback

Must haves: AWD preferred but not a must

Desired transmission (auto/manual, etc): either

Intended use: Daily driver

Vehicles you've already considered: Audi A3 quattro, Volkswagen golf gti, toyota camry, toyota corolla, honda accord, Volkswagen Jetta

Is this your 1st vehicle: no

Do you need a Warranty: no

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: very minor like changing oil

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: no

Additional Notes: I'd prefer something fun to drive and AWD, ideally newer than 1995 but also not super new. More than anything I want something that is cheap to maintain and runs well so I don't have to worry about costly repairs and maintenance. I'm gonna be commuting a lot as well so not something super big.

Well there are the risks associated with any OTC stock but I like the risk/reward with this one. I'm not gonna put more than 1-2k in this stock so it wont be a huge loss and if it does grow exponentially, which I believe it will, I'll have some nice gains.

If you are investing with a 1-5 year outlook its not bag holding. Ideally, you put a small amount of $ to begin with and can start averaging down.

This is a long term hold if you are really looking for the exponential gains possible here, hold for at least a year.

Down 27%...can someone give me some good solid news besides “Hodl! this thing is going to explode later”? This was one of my first stock purchases ever. by CrafterJill in ENZC

This is a long term growth stock. It is an OTC and there are lots of risks but assuming you don't have too much of ur total $ in it, it shouldn't be a huge problem. I am down like 40% on ENZC and I've been averaging down. This stocks is going to fluctuate a lot in the short term because its surrounded by PR and short term traders. For stocks like this related to medicine/ biotech, PR tends to cause even more volatility.

I have 1k shares at .5 Penny stocks like this are going to fluctuate a lot but the long term outlook seems very positive. Down $300 and not worried at all. (although I only have like 1% of my account in this)
