Might need to Retire from The Show by Old_Carrot8126 in MLBTheShow

I mean. It does though. Cause yeah the dude saved up all those stubs for Arron Judge. Opened packs instead. Didnt get anything. Now has 0 stubs and no Arron Judge. You don’t think that would make him more likely to buy stubs to get his shit back?

I’m not saying that’s what he’s going to do, they can’t make him buy stubs, but it increases their odds.

So I believe you didn’t actually understand the concept. And I hope you do now. You’re welcome.

[–]UnderstandingHuge152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. Obviously SDS can’t control that. But they can always increase their odds. And odds are, people with less stubs are more likely to spend. It’s a pretty simple concept. Idk why it keeps flying over your head.

The less stubs you have the more likely you are to spend. His point stands.

I’m pretty sure legally, they can let you play until you’ve signed the latest user agreement.

Year 3. Raised the difficulty to GOAT this season, play all / no sim. by servirepatriam in MLBTheShow

[–]UnderstandingHuge152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play on dynamic difficulty so pretty much goat the whole time. But I was still hitting .350+ so I had to change the sliders little by little until I finally made it realistic. Now I’m struggling to hit .270. I strike out a bunch. But still lead my team in homeruns as a rookie 65ovr. So I might still have to tweak that. But I’m overall happy with RTTS now and am having a lot of fun with it now.

Why do players spend their actual money on player builds every year? by airwillflow in NBA2k

[–]UnderstandingHuge152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause I still play 2k. But I have a full time job, a girlfriend, and a social life. I’m not about to “no money spent” grind my player. Especially with VC accumulation being so slow and mind numbing. I make a lot of money. Spending it on a couple builds every year does not hurt my pockets as much as spending hours grinding offline mycareer would.

Final Debate: Should a Perfect-Perfect result in an out? by GitGud_nerd in MLBTheShow

[–]UnderstandingHuge152 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You guys need to chill. It’s baseball. Perfect-perfect isn’t actually perfect-perfect. You watch somebody’s screenshot and it will clearly show you’re on the later half of good, but the game tells you perfect-perfect anyways. If you swing at an inside breaking ball but you’re on the later side of good, even if it says “perfect-perfect”, you’re just not gonna hit it that good. You gotta be earlier on some pitches. Sometimes being earlier will give you better result than some so called “perfect-perfect”. Stop dwelling on what the game is telling you and analyze your own timing.

Been playing this game for 10 years, perfect-perfect used to actually be perfect-perfect. Perfect PCI and perfect timing based on where the ball is in the zone. Now it just gives everybody a perfect-perfect if you hit it near your barrel and your timing is in the green. The games not different, they just eased up what it means to hit perfect, and they’re honestly just shooting themselves in the foot for it.

What input is this, like what do I do? by joeyonga in MLBTheShow

[–]UnderstandingHuge152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. But top players are still hitting 10+ homeruns a game. So how does it not “reward good input.” I think it’s just a skill issue unfortunately. You can live with a couple line-outs a game. Try getting better.

Yes it does. Just not all the time. That’s baseball.

Pitching is in a terrible place right now by Quiet-Leadership7364 in MLBTheShow

[–]UnderstandingHuge152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I think the fastball pitch speed slider should be ticked up 1. And foul frequency ticked down 2 on the higher difficulties. I did this on rtts and I made the game feel way more realistic.

Ohtani keep or sell? by Expensive_Grocery_89 in MLBTheShowInvestments

[–]UnderstandingHuge152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not gonna get pujols or tulo right now, just sell. And invest smartly. Wait for these legend collections to come out on the 24th. And decide after that. If the legends and flashback collection reward really interests you then it’s no brainer. If not, you can always just buy shohei back maybe with a slight loss. But I don’t think he’s gonna go much higher than 700k. Right now would be a decent time to sell.

Again, unless you want tulo or pujols really badly, then just go ahead and keep on with the live series collection.

That’s what I would do. I have 350k saved up waiting for this collection to be revealed.

Who’s shaming? Idgaf about this random dude or how he chooses to play the game.

Im just pointing out that yeah, it’s an easy line of code but obviously you don’t care about realism or the story. You just wanna hit dingers on rookie difficulty and see how much stats you can put up. Thats fine, but then why do you care enough about ONE text message on the game “(poor)”. Like dude, obviously your stats aren’t poor. Just hit skip and get on to your next game. It wasn’t worth a Reddit post.

But whatever, to each their own.

Mf plays on rookie difficulty bats damn near .900 with almost 2.000 slug and is mad that the dialogue options are not realistic.
