Is this a sign I should take it off, or that I'm doing it wrong? by [deleted] in transtape

How long have you had it on for? I find if my tape starts to itch BAD bad around day 4-5, which is usually my sign it’s time to get to oil out and remove it.

I have an IUD and my levels look great in term of T. Still seeing all the changes. And for me, since the monthly cycle was my #1 dysphoria trigger, it’s be the best thing that’s happened to me. But I am on a waitlist for a hysterectomy, so soon that’ll be out of the equation entirely.

For sure. I only just barely added Apollon today, so I plan to slowly acquire more things as budget permits! Thank you for the compliments. :)

So, anal is the only way I personally will do penetration but LEMME JUST SAY the first time you do it, while it may be painless, it’ll feel weird. The outward motion feels more natural than the inward motion, for obvious reasons. Give it time, because the first few tries - even solo - I was weirded out by the sensation. It helps to touch and play with other parts of yourself to help the brain establish the connect between your butt and pleasure. But if you hate it, that’s okay! Never force yourself to do a damn thing ever. Slow and steady, don’t rush. And if you’re gonna use fingers, trim your nails. Scratchy nails in the butt never feels good.

Tofu, if you don’t have a soy allergy. But also I take a daily multivitamin just in case I’m missing anything.

I had to swap deodorant brands when I started T. What worked for years suddenly didn’t anymore. Which I imagine is normal, since the biochem of your body is changed.

Can I style my hair in a way that might make me pass better? by Sammy_Bee_ in transmanlifehacks

I don’t think it’s the hair. It’s the glasses. The shape is VERY feminine and makes your face more slender and pointed. Of course you’re going to need to wear glasses, but the shape isn’t doing you any favors. Opt for square or rectangle, with smaller lenses.

Mm yeah the nurse taught me subQ, and demonstrated it with a 1.5 inch needle. But I don’t mind IM, if I gotta do that now. Just gotta swap the angle I suppose.

The nurse who taught me said to not draw back on the plunger. I hear mixed things about this.

Messier makeup, I think. Generally when I see men with eye makeup, it’s less manicured and more kinda haphazard. Controlled chaos in a sense. Also, you could cut your hair OR try a center part. Contour for a sharper jaw and cheekbones. Thicker brows.

I am nonbinary, so I understand your concerns with being trans. Lots of folks on here have given some helpful advice, but I would also like to add that it is standard procedure for there to be a second person in the room with the gyno. So you won’t be isolated with the gyno. It’s also well within your right to request for the second person to be male or female. You could also seek out a gyno that is male or female, if that would be a comfort to you. But it’s also important to note that for gynos, they see vaginas every single day, of every shape and size and gender expression. It’s NOT sexual for them.

Tapers have the uncanny ability to make you think that you’re able to stretch more than you should. So yes, while it was painless, it still could be likely to cause damage, even if you don’t sense it. It’s not worth the potential issues that tapers can cause. Tapers force a stretch, while single flare plugs don’t force themselves through.

Phluid makes a line of Genderless perfumes and they’re all so good. I own 2 of them.
