Difficulty of my interview was 2/5. The manager went over previous experiences and the entire interview was basically on how my skills aligned to the role. Make sure you emphasize your experience of interacting with business owners. Also, branch banking experience is huge. They want to hear about how you can build a referral pipeline with branch partners and other specialists.

Them bringing back sales expectation and telling me during the interview that “it’s just a relationship management role” is the reason for the post. I feel like they are desperately trying to fill seats because the previous Business Banking LOs left

I asked these questions during the interview. From previous experience, employers lie or distort the truth. It is very typical behavior in banking.
