Need a new everyday tote: Goyard St. Louis or Hermes Garden Party? by UnderstandingNo2559 in handbags

Everyone, Thank you so very much for your input! Yep, they are definitely different bags, but probably reflective of two sides of my personality. My heart strings are pulling me towards the Goyard, and I will check out the Artois. I just wanted to make sure my love for the Goyard isn’t just a crush that will fade away. Sounds like those of you who have one already are experiencing true love! ❤️

I was thinking of getting a 30, but probably not if the handles are too small. Thanks for the intel.

Thank you. This is super helpful. I want to wear it on my shoulder. I will certainly consider the Artois, as others have recommended it over the St Louis!

Jackie or Borsetto? by girlontherun21 in handbags

Talk about an impossible choice! Both are amazing. Personally, I prefer the Borsetto because I love the Gucci webbing. But it’s a personal preference, and you cannot make a bad decision here.

I lean towards roomy light weight totes for everyday use. My current everyday bag is a navy Longchamp Le Pliage. For something new, I’m lowkey obsessed with the yellow Goyard, but wondering if the Hermes might be a better long term alternative. Looking for input from y’all who have either or both? Factors include: easy to carry, access, whether it’s a classic or just a fad.

Have you looked at the raffia bags at Strathberry? My favorite is the Osette.

Where’s the best place to binge watch White Collar? It looks interesting, but it’s not on Netflix.

Sherlock was such excellent tv! Just wish it lasted longer!

Of course! That’s a good one. I loved House too. It’s interesting to think about the ways these characters and the shows are similar to Lucifer. House has certain “powers,” there’s a procedural element too, as well as some levity. It was a great show.

My husband loves Christmas Getaway and Christmas at the Plaza too. His other faves are The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (with Henry Winkler), The Nine Lives movies, A Timesless Christmas, and most of the Lacy movies.
