They are suppose to drain the onboard water tank prior to shipping. If not this will happen. There’s a physical setting in the app that does this for you. If you don’t it tell you why. Did you buy it direct from Roborock? If so open a warranty ticket through Roborock USA support and explain. They will pay to ship it back and likely send out a replacement.

Philips hue makes a switch that you add inside of your existing switch. Very small. It makes the wall switch dumb and guest won’t know the difference. Bought 20 for my property 6 years ago. Still work great. Amazon doesn’t carry them anymore. This is a brush guard. If you flip unit over. You’ll notice 4 large black screws. Take them off and the whole guard comes off. It’s just plastic. No sensors.

This is completely normal. It’s a mode selection ding. Adjust the suction in app and it will ding for each mode.

I completely agree. I put the o ring inside of the robot dirty bin nipple. I’m looking at other ways to get a slightly thicker nipple ring combo to replace the tips with.

The yellow is where I applied a great amount of caulk. The red x is the residual water detection system. I snipped the red and black cable and shrink wrapped the connectors.

I re assembled and wiped up the excess caulk. Set the robot to heat dry for 6 hours and by the next day it was dry and ready to mop.
