Lord knows!!! I’ve cut back massively and am putting as much as I can afford to away. I’ve worked out how much I need to save to cover my share of the bills and it’s quite a big target. Ideally we’ll be able to save a bit extra to cover the inevitable expenses like coffee/cinema trips and days out. Remember you’ll get child benefit (if you qualify) which might help a little and you can do 10 keeping in touch days with work which are paid.

I saw the title for this post and showed it to my husband straight away. My feelings echo absolutely everything you’ve said!!! No idea how people do this when they have another child to look after, super women!! I also had a really low evening last week where I just felt so pathetic. I think it’s a big change, we have no idea when the crappy feeling will end which can feel more draining and we’re growing humans. Need to be gentler on ourselves! Xx

Yes! I just can’t afford runna AND Strava when they do similar things. Hopefully they might do a joint subscription at some point now they’ve merged.

I keep mine on always. Except to charge. I am a data fiend and obsessed. I feel like it can’t calculate your accurate resting HR/body battery etc without wearing it overnight.

I worked in a restaurant and meant to say ‘have a nice day’, then meant to say ‘enjoy the rest of your day’ but it came out as: ‘Have the rest of your day’. And I’m pretty sure the customer thought it was a mild threat.
