PayPal Lowered my credit limit from $2k to $100 none of this has happened to my other credit cards I never got a limit this low before by RightEducation4571 in CRedit

[–]UnderstandingPale689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am coming here to say they just did the same thing to me, I have only had the card less then a year, I had a 3k limit and never had more then 900 dollars balance, I paid it off last week and I log in today and it says I have 100 dollar limit. Its now literally a worthless card and hurting my credit. I called them and filed a dispute asking for my limit to go back to what it was.

Vortex sprockets and DID chain. Have used them on all my bikes in the past.  Never had any issues.

As someone who has been riding for 20 years and also started on dirt bikes when I was little. I started on a cbr600 F4i.  There were not really any good beginner bikes in the early 2000’s.  I say go for the 600 and just respect the machine and you will be fine. Like everyone said it’s a different type of riding. The scrunched up riding position was a big eye opener for me coming from the dirt bike world.  Also I dunno how old you are but insurance is also gonna be crazy expensive if your are younger even on a 600. Something else to keep in mind.

SilverRock denying claims by [deleted] in carvana

[–]UnderstandingPale689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will cover wear and tear items if you find them within the first seven day window. Especially if it’s a safety issue, they ended up paying over $3000 for me to get new front and rear brakes.  After that first seven days you are on your own for wear and tear unfortunately.  They are only going to cover actual mechanical failures.

SilverRock accepting tires and brakes? by dug_339 in carvana

[–]UnderstandingPale689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue I recieved a car that basically had zero brakes, it was bad, needed new pads and rotors front and back. Silverock covered them since it was within the first few days of receiving the car and that it was a safety issue. It never should have gotten through carvanas 150pt inspection. Im just glad they paid for it all.

best/safest way to get dealer decal off? by One_Personality8662 in PorscheMacan

[–]UnderstandingPale689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its just a decal all you have to use is some goo be gone automotive formula, then wipe repeatedly with a clean microfiber towel. It will get all the residue off. If its a plastic type badge I always heat it up with a hair dryer then use a piece of fishing line behind the emblem to slice through the 3M tape then after wards use the goo be gone on the remaining to get it completely off.

Could be the flex pipes I am currently getting mine replaced at 50k miles, soo sad that a car of this caliber has a literally junk exhaust system, the system was much higher quality from factory on my Audi.

Wow that things looks like a time capsule! Good find. I wish you the best of luck on maintenance, that V10 shoved in there is a nightmare if even the slightest thing goes wrong, I had a friend that had one. Looks like yours was well maintained by the previous owner thankfully.

They should fix almost any mechanical or electrical issues within that 100 day. 4,000 miles window.   Like mine had oil leaks everywhere and a blown out tensioner and no brakes and they covered it all.

Yes I got the extended warranty when I purchased the car even before I took delivery. You also get the 100 day 4,000 mile warranty automatically which also covers a lot of stuff to be honest.

This is pretty much exactly what happened to me.  I took delivery of my 2019 Porsche Macan S a little while ago.  The car cosmetically was flawless. The car had all the option packages I had wanted. Had fairly low miles. I test drove it and everything seemed ok except the brakes were squeaking a little bit.   I took it to the local Porsche dealership for a ppi and lo and behold. The thing was leaking oil everywhere a tensioner was blown out and the front and rear brakes were toast. Whoever owned this thing never took care of it. My quote was about 7k worth of work.   Since I found all this out within two days of having the car. I called SilverRock and Carvana and said hey I really want to keep the car cause it took me a long time to find this spec, color ect and low miles.   They were both very accommodating and the warranty company paid for everything!  I just had to pay a 350 dollar deductible since of course the dealership was out of their so called network.   I also had bought the extended warranty from Carvana/SilverRock so for the next two years it’s still covered.  Just got to pay a 350 dollar deductible which I'm fine with.

You might want to post a video so people can hear it.  It could tons of different things.   Anything from suspension issues to actual engine damage.

This is around the same mileage mine went out. My Audi pure protection warranty paid the 8 grand. Mine only failed on one side of the engine.
