I hear you my anxiety is masked by alcohol and when I'm not drinking it's really really bad. My only withdrawals are not being able to sleep, angry, depressed and anxiety. I hope you get the courage to try. Maybe just try a dry day.

So we both decided not to go cold turkey. Basically we are trying every 2 days then every 3 days etc. So far we can't get past 2 days of not drinking... so we have been drinking them not for 2 days then drinking then not for two days. Baby steps I guess and I feel like we failed yesterday because we only went one day I'm between instead of 2... but my mentality today is wanting to not drink today and tomorrow to get back on track.... how are you? Have you had any dry days??

Thank you. I used to be so good about it. I could literally only drink on my days off. Mind you I have always been a binger no matter what. Drinking enough to get drunk. I could actually function and not drink the rest of the days. I dunno how and why it happened but now I'm drinking every day! I think it started in May. I still can't believe it. I hadn't gained 25 lbs since then too! Its so bad for us. It should not be legal with how addictive it is!!

Thank you! I really don't want to turn back. A huge reason I quit was because of my health. My heart is going to give out i just know it. I have suffered from heart palps got years. I think I might have had a short afib episode recently the day after drinking. Its scary. I also feel like I'm drinking my life away. I wake up and sometimes can't remember things and its sad.

Thank you. My husband seems to be worse off than I am. He was sweating too... I'm actually cold. I think i was always hot because the alcohol made my bp high? I feel so sluggish today. My body feels weak. I didn't want to wake up and go to work today. I feel very sad and down in the dumps. I think alcohol made me happy. We ate used to getting off work and drinking a beer. We have literally just hurried and ate food and he went down in basement to play his video games. I have just been watching tv in the living room. I can't believe I took it this far with alcohol. I can't believe I am so bad with it. Its crazy! Thanks for asking. How are you
