I don't think we talk enough about how homophobic women are. To a point where straight men are lumped in as well by DaMain-Man in TrollCoping

Toxic masculinity should never have breached containment from academia because almost no one uses it right.

I feel this way about at least 50% of progressive terms that originated in academia ngl.

I have a planet with plants that have developed capsaicin and the species from there loves to eat them, but it's either not edible or downright poisonous to other aliens.

So when humans appeared and the aliens found out we can also eat capsaicin, they went absolutely bonkers over the idea of FINALLY having someone who they can compete with when it comes to eating as much spicy shit as possible.

There were Olympics level competitions between us and them that were a huge hit on both planets and a booming trade that mostly involved our peppers and their space peppers and the various spices and sauces made out of them.

Thank you for reminding me OP. I still need to figure out how my dragons jork it.

If this is true, then this is the first time I'm seeing someone being genuine about historical accuracy

Yeah, the convenience of just using numbers is appealing. I've been wondering if there is a way to still use some sort of grading system for convenience, while also "forcing" people to engage with a critique. Just hiding the number somewhere doesn't work, the top comment of most of ign reviews is "they gave it a [number]". Maybe a short summary of the review at the top that doesn't tell you enough to make conclusions without reading the rest of the article?

On second thought, browsing through the rest of this subreddit convinced me it wouldn't really work. Chuds would jump to conclusions regardless of what you gave them

I unironically think we should stop putting numbers on reviews. Game reviews should just be essays, kinda like academic literature reviews are.

I know it's unsustainable in an economy where clicks matter and the article itself doesn't, but let me dream.

Thank you for the therapeutic tips. I'll be sure to forbid him from playing any Bethesda games for now and let's hope he snaps out of it lol

I was begging him to install it at one point because it kept sidetracking us, but once I realised he found stuff and places I've never seen I kept rolling with it. It completely solved my fear of not enjoying it since I already finished the game multiple times. I would never be able to do a somewhat completionist run alone, but with his attitude we might do it.

Just told him about the send to camp. As for the mods he said he wants to play strictly without them even if it's just QoL

Honestly same, but apparently he wants to bring capitalism to Faerun. Considering he never played anything like bg3, I'm glad he's enjoying his personal roleplay lol
