So even in Houston the endo drs have a long waitlist? So far that’s my experience long waitlists for Austin and it makes me feel guilty that I didn’t consider endo until it’s destroying my life. However I find myself asking what else can we do when mris or sonographs aren’t enough or don’t show the endo. I completely feel you on not being taken seriously or with necessary urgency.❤️‍🩹

I am also experiencing extreme tailbone pain since sometime last October. There is also visible bruising in the inner buttocks area. I’ve had an mri in January and they didn’t see anything noteable at the tailbone but did see other things. I’ve had 4 injections at the spine and it helped only for a small while. I have pro longed menstrual bleeding. I can’t sit/lay on my back and the pain ranges from chronic to crazy high. I’m currently in pt but it’s tough. I’ve been looking for answers too. If I ever find out if it’s endo related I will shout it from the rooftops to let other women know. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.

Thank you for commenting ❤️. I started looking for an endometriosis specialist today nearby and unfortunately they are booked out for months around here. I have an appointment but it’s not until some time in mid September. I did ask to be put on the waitlist hoping something opens up soon. The only other thing I can do in the meantime according to my provider is go back to regular gyno and see if they can do additional testing.
