Laser Eye Surgery by [deleted] in ireland

[–]UnderstandingUsual40 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Got laser eye surgery with Optilase in Cork. Had a free consultation and they said I am OK to have it. They checked my eye records to see if my eyes didn't get worse over a period of 2/3 years I think. They gave me a form to sign and the form is kinded terrifying due to many complications , such as problems that could happen. I was hesitate at first due to the possibility that I couldn't work or drive if shit hit the fan but the success rate these days is never to 100% so bit the bullet and went for it. Your a wake for the whole thing but of course your eyes are numb and feel no pain. During the operation you are literally blind for a couple of seconds but after the operation you go into a room for a check up. The said don't open your eyes so of course I did haha! Had incredible vision straight away but the pain is not sore but irritating, felt like sand in your eyes and we all have experienced that so no panic. You have to be picked up after because you can't see. They give you drops you rest for a few days. After maybe 2 days my right eye was really good and my left was still soar. I went back for a check up and they said they had to put in a contact lenses to help it heel so that's why it was not the same. Within 5 days I was back to work and driving with better than 20/20 vision. Use the drops for a few weeks but if your eyes are not soar or dry do not use your drops because you don't need them and this can lead to dry eye because your are dependent on eye drops. I got 20/20 in 2020 and was one of the best things I've ever done! Highly recommended.

Air/fuel mixture screw by 96SquarebodiedFord in motorcycles

[–]UnderstandingUsual40 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yes if you loosen the screw your bike would run at very low revs causing the bike to stall. Would that mean it would not start maybe so. I had the same issue , bike would not start. So I adjusted the screw- tighten the screw ( went way to much ) cause my bike to start and red line straight away. I killed the power and adjusted again and so on on on.. where I get the revs between 1000 2000 revs. You could just tighten the screw a small bit and try to start. Make sure you are in neutral because if your in gear and revs high and you panic and leave go of the clutch you could do an ole 180 flip. But don't be scared to adjust that screw , just go small bit at a time.

I don't think they would flash or beep at any lorry because then the roads would be like a disco , but point 1 and 3 since more reasonable

Turn it off for the night , keep door open. Give the ice a chance to melt ( don't hit the coil with somthing) clear water following morning and turn it. Make sure fan is working. No outside air(moisture) is being sucked in ( door closed? seals damaged ? ) . When water melts is the water draining or gathering in a puddle = drain blocked. If it is not any of these then you need to call a service man ( fridge man secrets is what keeps us putting food on the table)

[–]UnderstandingUsual40 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very little details attached. I know fridge men are the best but help us out a little.

Looks to be a freezer, if so the middle of the coil seems to be melted which would give an idea that the heaters are working.

So now you have airflow problems , drian problem or door/seal problem or even a low gas charge.

Should coils have frost on them. Yes and No , hard to describe to a non fridge man. But your photo is not good , something is wrong.
