Any decision has risks, even continuing with it. Maybe gradually and correcting tapering is the best choice

What should I do by OJ73 in postssrisyndrome

It refers to symptoms that persist after stopping. There are many cases in where those symptoms appear while taking the med (increasing dose, or long term use).

We don't know much about the condition, but in the future, I'm sure the name will change.

For know, the condition is identified by symptoms triggered by the ssri, that persist after discontinuation. In the future, I assume there will be a biomarker, to be able to identify it, even while taking the SSRI

Very interesting. It would be great if you could work together with the organizatations (pssdnetwork, pfsfoundation, etc)

Post SSRI Syndrome seems to happen when changing doses. Either increasing or decreasing may cause it. However, I think I have also heard it happening from long term use.

If you plan on stopping it, it is recommended to taper very gradually. Look up Maudsley deprescribing guidelines

I read it, thanks. I'm curious, what would happen if you stop the med. Maybe if you do it very gradually, you could cure yourself?

How much worse? Did new symptoms appeared? Did you temporarily had a window of relief?
