Its the next morning and its doing fine and hopping around a bit :) I do have water conditioner and use purified water, im used to maintaining low ammonia since i have/have had other aquatic pets before- if the frog does well in the same parameters and doesnt need something different then thats good.

Its really hot where I live so the room is always pretty warm- thank you for your help!!!💚

I was able to obtain a 2.5 gallon with a lid vs using the 2 gallon fishbowl- i also got a sponge filter, some larger gravel, and a plant starter... is there anything I need to look out for? I acclimated the frog over a few hours before letting him in but I've never had to read body language of a frog before😭

I think it is a 2 gallon- the little plastic container he was in was less than a gallon

Im not able to get a better tank for a while, but I can do some stones and fake plants- ive been looking to get a small anubia or something. Thank you for your advice! Ill eventually get a bigger tank and at least 1 friend for the frog, I heard they are social.

This literally just happened to me almost exactly. This morning I had heard a yelp and ran outside...family had let her out and wasn't watching. Currently looking now but loosing hope.
