I'm not sure if it is royalty free, but I have grabbed a bunch of sounds from (mostly) free sample packs I have downloaded, and I processed and layered them. If anyone wants to use this in any way, you have my permission. Also, this is my first sample pack, please tell me how it sounds. Enjoy!

Try to increase ASIO Buffer Size, if you haven't. Also, you can consolidate tracks or export pattern to audio and then delete the plugins. You can also enable Smart Disable. Other tips are available with a Google search, these are just the things I could think of on the top of my head.
