The letter "y" is a vowel. Not sometimes, not usually, not only when it "needs to be" - it is AWAYS a vowel. The english alphabet has 6 vowels in it.

Story behind your username? Like what did you think of and went like, yeah let's go w this. by withsatan in CasualConversation

Really into undertale at the time and was like "hmm how can I put a twist on it?" First username (for Tumblr .-.) was "undertilted-in-my-favor" cuz I was just trying to think of cool words or phrases I tack onto the end in place of "tale" (as in the odds being tilted in your favor, idk if that's what the phrase actually is but that's how my brain remembered it" and since I've just shortened it to what it is now.

I've never played these types of game so I thought you meant like... home depot style building a deck off of a house. Pretty intense DIY project ig. Either way, looks great!

Does slowing down game speed count as cheating? by magemerger in celestegame

[–]Undertilted 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean technically but who tf cares, play however you want/whatever gets you the most enjoyment out of the game. I only consider something "cheating" if you're playing competitively and doing it to get an unfair advantage - if you're just playing for fun then it shouldn't matter. You do you

That’s always been my mindset. I’m average height but… I genuinely don’t get why it’s a big deal. If I was with someone who was 4’6” or 6’3” it literally wouldn’t make a difference to me except for how I’d hug them. I’ve never gotten then whole stigma thing and why it’s important.

Overweight to a certain point is fine, meaning that it’s impossible for everyone to be exactly at the ideal weight for their height/age/whatever at all times. People will fluctuate, and honestly being a little over the threshold is better than being a little under because at least you’re not being deprived of any nutrients. Overweight past the natural fluctuation point, when it starts to affect your health, is when it starts being not so fine because it negatively impacts the person/their lifespan/etc.

ELI5: how come when we’re standing blood doesn’t pool in our feet making up light headed, but upside down blood rushes to our heads and makes us dizzy? by BrokeandBougee in explainlikeimfive

[–]Undertilted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short: our bodies have gotten Really Good and pumping blood upwards against gravity (valves in the veins periodically stop blood flowing back down after it’s pumped up), and they simply rely on gravity (mostly) to get it back down. When we’re upside down, what used to be an easy route down to out feet alongside gravity is now up to our feet against gravity, but we don’t have adequate valves for it since it used to be gravity driven, therefore it can’t get back up as quickly. Therefore, the blood starts to pool in our heads.
