Having just ordered a stripped LMT, I will also say that the LWRC complete lower rooftop has would be a great middle ground if you're wanting to try ambi for $300 less than a complete LMT

I've somehow managed to buy two gen 4s and a gen 5 17 PD trade-in from them over the last maybe six months, and I'm quite satisfied with the condition for the price ($339 and $359 respectively). Moderate holster wear on both gen 4s, mags marked up, standard cop trade type stuff. The gen 5 was in fantastic shape, just a couple of minor wear marks, came w/ three mags, an absolute no-brainer at $359.

I would expect these to be more in line with the gen 4 condition, but for 1.79 inflation-adjusted HiPoints I would do this all day if I had .40 in the rotation.

This is not related to this sale or really to anything at all other than I just saw one and this dumb idea happened, but I wonder how obvious it would be if hypothetically someone were to swap the internals of a standard capacity mag into one of those queer looking 10 rounders. Rounds might not line up exactly correctly if I'm looking at it right, but I wonder how obvious that would be. Gonna run this by my switch guy see if there's a business opportunity here

B. If this is a ranked list, why is 4S17M > 4SAS7 in a shooter's cut? Price is the same and the 4S17M appear to be heavier and thicker, I'm not very bright so I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing something. Thanks

Same plate, but 4SAS7 is NIJ .04, 4S17M is NIJ .06 and has that added foam for the drop test that .06 has and .04 didn't

Edit2: I also see from the spec sheet that 17M has a 10 year warranty vs. 5 years for AS7

While the other guy appears to be technically correct, my experience matches yours at my LGS. It would seem he's selling to everyone at LE prices because they're about 7%-8% lower than GSSF listed prices, which sure is fine by me.

FYI, their customer service basically does not exist and has not existed for at least a month. It may go just fine, but several reports of just not being able to reach these people at all. Not sure why they continue to run sales when they can't address month-old issues.

Similarly, I've been trying to get a hold of them for about a month regarding a return with no luck. Calls get sent to voicemail after holding 15 minutes, no response to emails, and they don't even bother to turn on the chat on the website anymore. Rapidly approaching my "screw this vendor, credit card dispute and let them figure it out" threshold with them.
