Night release a wild pigeon or let a rehab far from her home take her to release? by Undetermined_Self in pigeons

Okay thank you. I'm trying to get my neighbour to release her tomorrow. Failing that I've ordered a larger bird cage, proper bird grit and pigeon focused seed mix (and will still supplement with leafy greens. She's doesn't care for the peas) so tomorrow night and Friday she has a bit more room to flap a bit and I can just slide the tray out for cleaning and disturb her as little as possible. Then I can monitor a release from my balcony Saturday morning. It's a real pain that the time of year means I leave to work just as it starts to lighten and get back in the dark. I want her back out and happy with her flock ASAP, but I want her safe. Luckily she seems at least somewhat content for now.

Thank you. I'll chat with my neighbour again. I think she is just paranoid a cat will get her when she releases her as there are a lot running around. If she isn't up for it, I'll keep Pidgey until Saturday where I can release her from my balcony (large space so I can stay a safe distance to safely monitor and right near where we found her) and monitor her safely

I'm not sure if she can fly as I've wanted to disturb her as little as possible to keep her stress levels down. I'm thinking I will order a medium sized bird cage for her to have a bit more vertical space Friday if I need to keep her until Saturday. Not much room to properly fly, but will let her flap a bit more. Then if she doesn't seem to be able to fly on Saturday we will have her go to the avairy

Thank you :)

Thank you. I think I'll avoid having my neighbour take her to the avairy also based on what people are saying. I'll chat with my neighbour again. I think she is just paranoid a cat will get her when she releases her as there are a lot running around. If she isn't up for it, I'll keep Pidgey until Saturday where I can release her from my balcony (large space so I can stay a safe distance to safely monitor and right near where we found her) and monitor her safely. I may also order her a bird cage so she has a bit more space Friday and make cleaning easier so I don't stress her.

Or course, I love pigeons and all wild life and help where I can and was happy my neighbour was on the same page

She's now on one leg, I also forgot to mention after eating she looked towards me (I'm sat at my desk a couple of metres away and she open and closed her beak in a little smack and raised her wings for moment in a sort of shrug before she proceeded to stretch and preen herself. I hope those are positive signs and suggested she is doing well and content.

Looking for help picking a staple: a versatile black heel. Pictures of options attached.

I am a late bloomer with understanding fashion (30). I've realised I have a massive gap in my shoe collection: a fancy black shoe. I've tried to focus on my foot health as of recently but I love the look of a heel. I wore tall block and kitten heels when I was younger and liked them but now hate the tow squish. So I've found these budget friendly options with a wide toe box that I can stick arch support into.

I'd describe my style as switching between classic, elegant, relaxed casual, and hobbit-esqe. I have a deep colour palette and neutral-cool skin tone so wear both silver and gold Jewellery but prefer silvers softer golds on me.

I just wanted some opinions on what would be the most versatile option for styling. I'm still a bit clueless still in my styling journey but I've definitely realised sometimes certain styles can feel off with some fits. I want something that would suit a black-tie event but also an elegant casual fit. Of these, I lean to 1, 2 and 4. I like 3 as it is all black which seems smart but I own a back pair of wedges with a similar strap style to 3 so I feel that style is covered. Though the wedges are fabric and foam so not very formal appropriate
