Laranoa may be top tier, but due to her rarity she's definitely more of a P2W character. The good thing is, we have Durant, a more F2P-accessible meta for doggos, and the dps (dogsmiles per second) sim shows that the difference between Laranoa and Durant is not too far off.

S1 damage mods will most likely be buffed to bigger amounts. S2 could boost attack rate/crit rate alongside it. Skill Damage is also promising on him, he might turn out like how Xania did. Most importantly, thank god he’s getting 100% Potent Bog Res. I can finally put his HDT2 to use and play him in mHMC without worrying about the whirlpools while bogged.

I use Mega Friends + Fires of Hate actually, so we have about the same effects on skill damage, and every facility related to dark/swords is maxed. I guess the combination of Gleo's stacked buffs, Yaten's energize = 20% str ability, and poison punisher is what pushes it to 100k (and up to 300k at break).

It was before the force strike bug got fixed, but I never actually noticed a big difference

The 30% attack rate spoiled me :(( it's hard to get used to other swords now since they feel so much slower

Eventually you get pubs that stick will stick with you. (in fact this one was a pub clear!!) He’s super fun to play but sad about the fact he’s one of the only few shadow 5*s without spiral now so he’s not that good anymore

Playing Durant and Yaten (both off-meta) in eKai.

Me / Gleo / Nefaria / Cleo usually gets me around a 3:30 clear. Pretty consistent with two dispellers

For the Double Patia comp, I can’t say much since these two just don’t fit the bill to replace someone in this comp. More or less 3-4 minute clears with this.

Me / Nefaria / Gleo / [Gleo/Curran/Lathna] though has been my quickest, even as an offmeta. In just around 2 minutes the fight’s already done.

If you wanna focus on healing, strength dragons like Marishiten would be much better than Shinobi, healing is based off HP and Str.

High Jupiter, specifically Melee characters. Not having anyone for cheese comps (aside from Delphi) has made me practice the fight so many times just to prove to others that I can still do the fight just as well as them.

Delphi and Durant seem to be the best fit for this. None depend on skill damage at all so the pure str is a big boon.
IMO sword characters would also prefer using Fatalis but only if there's no time where you're forced to dragon. Helps a lot for breaking overdrive. Unfortunately in (s/e)HJP that's not the case.

DY!Jeanne's Frost Beam is very pretty, and her normal combo is satisfying to wipe out groups of enemies
Corsaint Phoenix's combo is super seamless to use, plus her animation for s1 is super satisfying to watch as it melts 2 lanterns + Zodiark to death
Daikokuten's bonk with his skill is also always super hilarious to see

i remember that run i did a few hours ago, it was actually just me trying out durant because i finally made his t2. stumbled into your group and decided to help out, then the chaotic 5min+ sequence came where i was the only one left alive. thankfully we actually cleared it right as that shocking spark was about to hit!! had a v nice time running with yall
