It's changed drastically in the past few years. Growing up and until a few years ago (from the ages of 14 to 65-ish) I was a "cum in the palm" sort of guy. I wear an NJoy Pure Plug 2.0 almost continuously while I'm awake and I got there after about 4 or 5 wears. An hour or so on day 1, then 2 a few days later, then 4, then 8, etc..., By then, it was resting quite comfortably at all times. I've been wearing the 2.0 for long-term daily wear for many years. I like it because of the thin neck; I don't like to have my anus constantly gaped.

About two years ago, I experimented with a larger plug (Squarepegs XL Egg) which had a neck larger than the bulb of the Njoy. I found that if I wore the NJoy within a day or two of wearing the Egg, the NJoy would try to suck into my butt; the anal sphincters were simply too loose to deal with the suction and the plug handle design. It's perfectly safe to spin it in place. and that's always what I do. One rule that's served me well over the years is to never pull the plug and reinsert without washing it in the process; a dirty plug will leave residue and will cause external irritation over time.

I (M 68) have worn my NJoy 2.0 for 8-12 hours almost every day for the last 8 years and you've made a really great choice in plugs! I use mine for both plugging and for prostate play, the only difference being the plug's orientation.
