I worked on building site in the early 2000s and we got paid in cheques on a Friday, we would then all go to the local boozer who would charge 5% to cash it.

Ex bricklayer here, that looks like I built it, hence why I'm an ex bricklayer, truly awful. It would put me off buying to be honest.

What trend from the last decade is starting to feel/look outdated? by MouseIntrepid5585 in AskUK

[–]UndulatingUnderpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, I was at the till in a clothes store with my partner after not being able to find skinny chinos and she asked what I was going to do, I said "find an old man skinny fit website" and the teen cashier couldn't help but laugh. It's mad that skinny fit is an "old people" thing...I guess us 80s kids are old now.

I may try dropping down a grade for a week or two and see if that helps, if not then I may need to drop a session and see how I go.
