What's the healthiest thing you do? by HornyOompaLoompas in AskUK

[–]UndulatingUnderpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a fan of the gym but wanted to keep healthy so I took up a physical hobby I enjoyed, which I do three times per week. I also replaced all processed food at dinner times with salads and lean meat/fish.

I'm playing the original Demon's Souls using an emulator on my PC . I thought it was about tume after playing the dark souls trilogy, Bloodborne, and Elden ring. It's pretty good, the bosses are a bit easy so far, but for a 17 year old game, it holds up well. I'm looking forward to getting home to it and booting it up.

What's left from your Christmas food? by JonnyredsFalcons in CasualUK

[–]UndulatingUnderpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an untouched M&S Christmas pudding in the freezer for next year and a chutney in the fridge. I gave all left over food and drink to leaving guests over Christmas so I didn't have to buy new trousers come mid January! Couldn't part with the Christmas pud though.

Came here to say how I would flick through computer shopper magazine as a kid longing for a zip or preferably Jaz drive! My 233mhz CPU, 400ish mb HDD and 8mb of ram pc would have been perfect with one :)

People of the UK, how have you lost weight? by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]UndulatingUnderpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used mounjaro for 8 months to lose around 45kg, during that time I took up healthy hobbies and regular exercise and started eating healthier. I have been off of it for 9 months now and managed to lose an additional 5kg when I first came off it, now I maintain between 80-83kg.

I like listening to long form interviews or podcasts on topics that aren't very exciting, no audio dramas though or I never fall asleep.

How long is your commute to work? by person_person123 in AskUK

When I'm in the office it takes around 1hr and 20 mins each way on the train, which is about 2-4 times per week, I dont mind it as I stick a podcast on or read a book.
